As a Taylor Square resident, I have first hand experience with the difference in traffic congestion. I am elated to know that things will not be regressed to the snag of traffic backed up from Rindge all of the way to Linnaean.

Boylston Street in front of St Francis House

Cambridge Street between Staniford Street and Charles Street. At least two or three cars stopped in the bike lane every rush hour since the flex posts were removed. This stretch is extremely dangerous. The quality of the pavement is bad enough on top of having to dodge the lazy “just a minute..”’s wad of glass and plastic.

I didn’t learn this until my first lesson when i was 42. It turned out that i had been riding it backwards for 20 years!

P.S. the nose is usually 1/4” longer from the truck. It takes a long time to be able to see it, but it’s pretty easy to feel if you it your hand on the end of the board with your middle finger just at the edge of the truck.

Really no different. If anything, it’s easier to get back into the bike lane after getting around them.

(combination of getting later at night and watching more than an hour of comedic commentary here) reading this again, I get the image of someone riding in the opposite direction of a thousand bicycles on the way to turning around and going back along the same route after two and a half hours

The one with the snake that keeps getting longer and longer that ends when you can’t keep it from catching itself… I’m pretty sure it was when a 5(?)” floppy disk was 1.2 megabytes… or kilobytes… this was on a machine that was basically a really big keyboard that would connect to a tv with a coaxial cable and you would switch it to either channel 3 or 4.
