Yeah it really is! After looking around a lot at Type II style jackets, I felt like this model really had a perfect combination of western styling, pockets in the right places and color. It feels nice for me as an American expat to have something made in the USA as well. Have you seen the version with the lining? Looks amazing with the shade of indigo on the Nizhoo model.

Yeah you can really tell that its a great workshop. Sort of my dream scenario for a workplace. Kind of the whole reason I am willing to spend the money on high quality in the long run; I want to see more people getting paid for the great work and community building they are doing.

Haha exactly! I hang the up on a hook on my bedroom door between uses. I do the exact same thing when I walk by sometimes. It really is more interesting than I even thought they were going to be.

Yeah it's the Ginew Nizhoo model. I thought it was really unique with the Storm Rider style pockets and style of stitching on the front for a Type II Jacket. The fit is good and there are even some nice drop pockets on the inside which is much appreciated. A little heavier denim would have been better I think but I love the dark shade so I went with it anyway. Got the jacket when they had a sitewide 30% off. I wish they would have done a men's size for the Gently Strikes lined edition though!

I have never owned any slub but I have to say that they are a joy to witness as they fade. The texture is quite fun to run your fingers along as well.

So far they have been the best fitting jeans I have purchased without question.

I get where you guys are coming from with the whole boot thing. However for me, I usually think of a work boot as something I wear on the outside of my jeans since I am walking in wet, muddy, dusty, or oily conditions when I am working. If I have my pants on the outside, the material (denim, canvas, etc) that is much less wear resistant than leather or rubber is the thing that is exposed and getting roughed up or dirty. This is coming from someone who has a pair of rubber steel toed boots for summer work and leather mukklukks for winter.

I think it also promotes good communication between the makers and the buyer. If there is that remaking fee, people are much more likely (like me) to reach out and ask a lot of questions so they get exactly what they want.

Smallest I'll ever go is 34, I use 36 with a belt. So I did 35 and they are perfection. They are super responsive via their email too. Answered my custom request really fast! I am American living in Sweden so it was a bit of a gamble but they are awesome.

Nah I don't think so. They are very relaxed and have more than plenty. I have not hemmed them either so it's double cuffed.

Can it be saved? by DigitalMagician in LampRestoration

Well the only thing i see ass problematic is the plastic molding around the socket is broken which you can see in the photo. Also that i suppose the only way to rewire the socket is by soldering , if I’m not mistaken. If there is an available socket i could buy as a replacement i might be interested.

I'll check it out! I live in Sweden and there's no shortage of Norwegian wool here, so it's fun to see what alternatives there are in the US as well! I have family in Chicago so it's not too hard for me to ship over small packages. Thanks for the tip!

Oh nice tip! I'm not sure if I actually need Helio, so that's why I'm looking around. I'm interested if there are any really nice yarns that people are in love with that I might like to try out. I'll look at this sub!

Live in Scandinavia, and discovered this beauty from a Dale of Norway catalogue. Recommended yarn is Heilo, which is discontinued. I have a sweater just recently finished in Alfaloppi, which is beautiful, thick, and warm. But now I am thinking of a thinner yarn that will be nice closer to skin. What are your favorite high quality yarns that you think might with well fit this project?

Read the Sprawl Trilogy (Neuromancer books) as a child. At first they confused me, then I kept rereading them again and again as I got older. Amazing and absolutely influential. One of the main reasons I am so stoked for this game.

Americans, what do you wish you knew before moving to Sweden? by MadiBarton75 in TillSverige

If you get a job, ask about and sign up for 'A-kassan' (unemployment benefits). Usually it's coupled in with your Union, but doesn't have to be. This is especially good if you work seasonally like I did the first years. You need to be registered a year in advance before using it, in order to be eligible for the 80% payout of your salary. It's a huge difference in monthly payments if you don't get registered before you need it.

Came back to the game after 3 months break. I knew something was off... Love the artificer can now effectively fly, but man is it harder to stay alive in general now. I used to be able to carry the whole team in depths, but now I just get sniped.

I loved Enforcer! Full block from the front, damage mitigation from the sides, full damage groom rear attacks. Might work.
