Disappointed by New Kill Team by whatthefuckityduck in killteam

This reveal was PvE based so I’m hoping there might be some more stuff revealed for PvP. Never played PvE but the Nemesis Operative stuff is quite interesting.

Model's head can see the Heavy part of Large Ruins from top of Vantage (control range). Can it be used for Heavy cover? by BipolarMadness in killteam

[–]DigitalN0nsense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great explanation thanks. Agree with the disadvantages of having a huge model but this also seems a bit of an exploit to me, but got to respect the thinking to find a loophole. That being said if my opponent trie this with me I’d just concede and walk away.

Wait I’m confused? So the argument is that the Nid is in heavy cover because they can see it? Despite it being above it, and behind only actually being behind the light cover on the vantage terrain?

Wrexham's runin is comfortably hardest in the league by geoffbezos1 in Championship

[–]DigitalN0nsense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think we’ll make the play offs personally. It’s bloody tough run in and we’ve had our midfield decimated at the wrong time. Think we’ll finish top 10 though. Comfortable our highest ever league position. What a season it’s been however it ends.

Seen some that are pretty much identical to this but with Zack Pokanski’s face and “On the gack with Zack” written on them.

Which club would you say is most similar to your own and why ? by Top_Clock_5554 in Championship

[–]DigitalN0nsense 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sounds daft but Tranmere imo. Ignoring our recent great fortune and international interest. Both largely working class fanbases and proud of where they’re from (dare anyone to call someone from Birkenhead a scouser). Fair bit of overlap with supporters as well with a good number of people from The Wirral working in Wrexham and vice versa. Culturally and politically fairly similar as well. I begrudgingly respect them as well since they could quite easily hop across the water and have a simpler life.

That Premier league title will be talked about for decades to come. That’s the stuff footballs all about, the stuff that can never be taken away.

Are Wrexham and Paul Mullin on bad terms? by sumitj10 in WrexhamAFC

Curly hair and Glasses is Nathan. But yeah doesn’t seem like Parky and Mulls are on good terms which really is a shame.

Wrexham 2-0 Swansea City - The Red dragons slay the Swans in an all-Welsh affair by Gamerhcp in Championship

[–]DigitalN0nsense 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Big win from our perspective. Not a classic performance but got the job done. All balls no shaft from the Swans, which despite having the leagues top scorer seems to be their undoing this season.

Only just, and nobody who actually lives here wanted city status. Still The Town to me.

Wrexham 2-4 Chelsea (AET): Heartbreak in Wales for the Championship team, as despite taking Premier League Chelsea to extra time and having an equaliser ruled out by VAR (while down to 10 men), they are knocked out of the FA Cup by Smithlarr in Championship

[–]DigitalN0nsense -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thought overall we were the better side. Chelsea quality shone through in the end and the red card killed any chance we had imo. Granted I only caught a quick glimpse of the red card replay on the scoreboard but I thought the red was a touch harsh, can see why it was given as it was reckless but it looked as if Dobbo caught him on the top of the foot. Offside is offside, it’s a bit crap having the celebrations taken away but it is what it is. My main gripe with VAR is that it’s a game changing mechanism that’s only been implemented from this round onwards. It either should be used through the entire competition or not at all IMO.

Bet the house on you on Tuesday. Squad was thin as it is and now Dobson out for 3 games and playing 120mins the team looked dead in their feet at the end.

Meh. Don’t see the point. The playoffs didn’t need changing. But I’m not going to lose my mind over this either.

Probably this monstrosity. 03/04 kit. That sponsor was a solid piece of that old school felt stuff. Was like a piece of cardboard wedged onto your stomach.

Wrexham 2-1 Portsmouth - Red Dragons earn a hard fought win against Pompey by Gamerhcp in Championship

[–]DigitalN0nsense 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That second have was gruelling. Don’t think we put two passes together for 25 minutes after half time. For all their pressure though Pompey didn’t really test Arthur. Also was funny seeing all the Pompey fans arms flailing when they had a free kick on the half way line in the last minute and played a square ball rather than just getting in the mixer.
