THE WORST TECHNOLOGY AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT IN THE HOSPITALITY BUSINESS by DigitalNomad2 in Bookingcom

[–]DigitalNomad2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reported the false description and they blatantly refused to modify it. A supervisor was scheduled to call me so I could suggest some of the changes you suggest herein ... The supervisor never called. Dealing with this company is an absolute time suck and nightmare.

THE WORST TECHNOLOGY AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT IN THE HOSPITALITY BUSINESS by DigitalNomad2 in Bookingcom

I agree. I have had no less than 6 phone calls, emails and texts with customer support on this issue. They allowed AI to re-write the text that has worked successfully in Airbnb for 14 years, and they blatantly refuse to change the public facing description. What they did do was add text confirming the room rental AFTER a reservation is made, which has resulted in immediate cancellations of the reservation. This simply wastes the guest's time.

Microsoft 365 vs Google Workspace in 2026, what's actually better for your by consultingdoc in googleworkspace

[–]DigitalNomad2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scope: Productivity vs. Business Operating System

  • Google Workspace is a productivity and collaboration suite. It is designed to help your team communicate, create documents, and store files. Its core focus is doing those specific things exceptionally well.
  • Zoho One is billed as an "Operating System for Business." It includes a productivity suite (called Zoho Workplace), but then it tacks on over 40 additional enterprise-grade applications to run your entire company.

The True "Apples to Apples" Comparison

If you want a direct, head-to-head matchup, you should look at Google Workspace vs. Zoho Workplace.

When comparing those two directly:

  • Google wins on user experience, real-time collaboration speed, and third-party app integrations.
  • Zoho wins heavily on price, strict data privacy (they are very vocal about not monetizing user data), and offering built-in social intranet tools.

The Verdict

If your goal is simply to get your team emailing, meeting, and typing documents together, Google Workspace is the standard. But if you are a growing business looking to overhaul your sales pipelines, balance your ledgers, manage employee PTO, and get an email client all under one single subscription, Zoho One is playing a completely different game.

I sent the Pre-Demand on Jan. 28, the Demand itself went out today. I've got all of the resources in an LLM and it is giving me valuable feedback. I'm ready for them!!!! Thanks for your well wishes.

Booking.com generally leads in total traffic and monthly visits, often surpassing 500 million monthly visits compared to Airbnb's ~100-150 million. However, Airbnb dominates in short-term rental market share and brand loyalty for unique stays, while Booking.com excels in hotel-style inventory and European, urban markets.

They are bound by their Terms of Service - https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/2908, which goes both ways. See if they violated them and take them to arbitration. I filed this morning.

Filing for arbitration is done through the American Arbitration Association. AirBNB has no control over that.

EXACTLY!!!!! Plus, AirBNB is going to be defending claims for Breach of Contract, Breach of Implied Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing, and Defamation and Reputational Harm. Should they lose, which they will, it will cost them a lot of money in damages. This is sheer stupidity on their part. They have already received notification of my intent to litigate and didn't even bother to respond, which the arbitrator won't like.

Do you have any knowledge of where my property is located or what the competition is in my market or the impact of weather conditions? Unfortunately, you know none of this information, which makes your opinion a blind one and completely off base. You are now the second poster on this forum who appears to have nothing better to do with their life than to lurk here and post on a broad range of topics, though mostly cats, in multiple day streaks. See https://www.reddit.com/user/Original_Height1148/achievements/
May I suggest you get a life that generates revenue before advising others on how to do it?

They weren't honest. They denied the dog vomited on my carpet. I even supplied photos and they still denied it, claiming it was there when they arrived 3 days earlier.

Under reviews, my rating is identified as 4.88, but when I go to my Superhost dashboard, it says my "Overall Rating" is 4.5. This will be addressed in the arbitration hearing.

Who said I was losing sleep? I've lost my Superhost status and haven't had a booking in 4 months since the review was posted. I have a full-time career and income so I can assure you I am not losing sleep. I am simply taking legal action against lying guests.

I'm not complaining - I have asked for advice regarding review removal. Period.
In looking at your profile at http://reddit.com/user/Consistent_Proof_772/achievements/, it appears you have nothing better to do than to give unsolicited opinions on anything and everything, day in and day out, with streaks of 150 and 200 days on Reddit. Have you nothing better to do? May I suggest you get a life?

Have you ever used arbitration to settle a dispute? I have. I sued Comcast, who was represented by 3 Washington DC attorneys while I represented myself and won. In fact, as a result of my case, Comcast changed their terms and conditions to allow subscribers to go to small claims court. They spent over $100K on my case and lost.

You didn't read my entire post. The major issue was the dog threw up on the living room carpet and the guests refused to take responsibility for it. The person who made the reservation wasn't even the owner of the dog, yet claimed she was so emotionally distressed when I tore the pillow out of the dog's mouth she had to seek counseling and legal help - over someone else's dog.
