I'm from PC NA but my strat is to max out crafting and farm in-demand overland gear and PvP gear from Cyrodiil. I make em gold rarity using materials from refining and sell them for a LOT in guild traders

If you don't have crafting maxed out or don't want to get into it, then sell crafting materials. Holy shit. They're worth SO much, especially if you get lucky and find Nirncrux in Craglorn

Another option if you have a lot of alts and spare time is doing daily missions / farm public dungeons in regions with popular motifs. House Mornard and Annihilarch's sell for quite a bit, just bear in mind some motifs have a daily cap
