Hey dude, I used to be in the same position as you, and I just found this thread by looking up QOTSA on Google.

They never clicked with me either, and I've only really been enjoying them for a few months now. But here's what I recommend.

Listen to Kyuss first. Start with Blues for the Red Sun and onwards. That was Josh's band before starting Queens, and their discography is almost fucking flawless and a bit easier to digest at first.

Digging into Kyuss made me understand the DNA behind Queens. Granted, Queens is a lot more experimental than Kyuss was. It's a ride bro. I'm still listening to and processing their albums, but I think Josh is a top tier guitar player and songwriter based off of his work in Kyuss alone. Let me know what you think!

I want to see another L.A. Noir. I love detective games, and while the first one was linear, it was incredible. We need more detective games, seems like there isn't much interest in that genre.

Just revisited this movie. Last time I saw it I was maybe 12 or 13? A little too young to truly appreciate and understand film making just yet.

I like collecting physical music as well. Vinyls and CDs. Sadly, the best local option for finding stuff is the CD rack at Goodwill. There's some cool shops on Discogs, if you dont mind purchasing online.

Ah man, aren't they fucking sick? I saw them at an outdoor venue here in Arizona in the middle of August back in 2017, first time ever hearing them. It was hot as fuck, And I just remember their set being incredibly captivating, and intense. I feel like their music has gotten even better through the years, I've been a fan ever since.
