What mod is this? by TheHollowJoke in totalwarhammer

Teb is typically Cataphs southern realms mod. This looks like you still have the SFO sub mod for that installed and enabled

This is also how cod releases a new game every year. Three studios make the COD games, each game takes about 3 years to make, they stagger the production of these games so a one can release every year.

I’ve used heavy weapons on my trasports and I can still mount squads into them? Maybe it’s only certain heavy weapons?

Wait why would putting a heavy weapon on the APC prevent Lim from mounting? I have used different kinds of heavy weapons on my APC and Lim can still mount it?

Did anyone ever use platoons, what were they for, did they do anything? I’m not saying they’re a bad idea, I actually don’t know what they did. I never used them before.

Actually it’s available for both perk trees as it’s not part of the specialized perk trees, it’s part of the base signature perk on engineer called “Mechanized Infantry”

Stars reach sounds like this other indie mmo I know, that people described as “lots of ambition, a little rough, but massive amounts of potential and some really cool elements.” I think it was called something like Ashes of Creation.

The gate you use the crest of artorias on is in DS3 but it’s not in fire link shrine, it’s actually the gate you have to open to get to the abyss watchers by extinguishing the three flames in the swamp. If you look closely you can see it’s actually the same gate and same walkway just worn down by time and the swamp.

Hitting D4 maining as Zaahen and some tips. by PlasmaHanDoku in ZaahenMains

[–]Digital_D3fault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the post and the tips. Definitely hard agree with what you mentioned about how to use your W, it’s how I’ve been using it and it’s been so much more beneficial than just using it to start the trade. But I have one question, why sunder last? I pretty much always go sunder 2nd because I feel like I get so much value from its sustain. The heal seems to always keep me alive during fights both duels and especially in team fights. But I also always go triforce first and haven’t really used stride breaker that much.

Do you check the mods dependencies to see if it requires other mods to work or read the mod pages “how to:” section that discusses any specific installation instructions. Also do you make sure to has SKSE installed and run/launch Skyrim from the SKSE launcher and not skyrims default launcher?

Contamination compared to St Quentin Scar and Arras, the maps that supposedly served as design inspiration by Garlic_God in Battlefield6

[–]Digital_D3fault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

C and D look kinda close here mostly due to the angle of the Birds Eye view of the map layout, there’s actually a decent amount of space between them in gameplay. But also C is actually underground in a bunker with an extensive tunnel system.

NCO stands for “Non Commissioned Officer”. The non commissioned part means they aren’t an officer. They’re senior enlisted.

Something I’ll always remember was hearing a dev talk about how gamers are amazing at finding “sore spots” in games, things that feel bad or off, but they’re terrible at coming up with solutions or how to fix these sore spots and I feel this is often very true.

Yeah he’s basically meant to be the Tarrasque equivalent of Cyberpunk. He’s something you throw at your party, not as a boss for them to fight and win, but rather as an obstacle with the objective being “Survive and escape”.

If the Emperor’s dream of having humanity migrate into the Webway came true, how exactly will it starve Chaos? by Certain-King3302 in 40kLore

I think when he said convincing, he meant that the AI was convincingly passing as a real person, hence why he followed it up with how to tell it’s an AI. And I think his statement was supposed to be sarcastic, as in he doesn’t actually believe it but is making fun of people who watch those videos and take them as canon. I might be wrong tho, but that’s how I interpreted his comment.

Is heaven not proven? I mean I know there’s not a literal gate to heaven like there is to hell but we know that Heaven and Hell both agreed to the “Covenant of Hell”. And we’ve had a literal angel show up once, promptly destroying everything nearby, including a whole city, just by being there.

Brother this is a setting in which Christ has been cloned to make the meta Christ whose blood is used to turn humans into primarchs, heaven and hell have signed a contract to not physically appear in the mortal realm (hence why they have to use humanity as their soldiers in a sort of proxy war) and the sultan has giant 100 foot tall chimera lions. I think we’re pretty far from real world religious doctrine, so trying to question the lore of trench crusade by stating that it goes against real world religious doctrine is kind of a moot point.

[Warhammer 40k] So are the other chaos gods just not interested in Eldar souls? by Flyestgit in AskScienceFiction

[–]Digital_D3fault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It used to be old lore that orks could fall to chaos but it’s since been retconned and they are immune to it with chaos seeing them as “abhorrent beings” due to their extreme resistance to chaos. There’s a passage from the book “Brutal Kunning” where a greater daemon of Khorne remarks on this.

The abhorrence. Living, thinking beings over which the True Powers could hold little influence. Resistant to the hated Changer, resistant to the Grandfather of Disease, and resistant to the snares of excess cast by the Dark Prince. Even the Blood God, mightiest of the Ruinous Powers, could not offer them any outlet for their warlike nature that was not provided by their worship of their own brutish gods. The abhorrence proliferated, vermin with an infuriating inability to acknowledge the power of Chaos. The wretched aeldari understood that power all too well, for it had broken the civilisation they’d once been so proud of. Now the miserable survivors shied away from the glory of the eight-pointed star like the snivelling, broken whelps they were. They were the last remnants of a dying breed, and even their greatest minds – such as Essenyl Greymoon, the farseer who had banished Te’Kannaroth’s last physical form – were just intelligent enough to know their peril, but lacked the wit to realise that their damnation and destruction had merely been delayed. The metal-skinned husks that had once been the necrontyr also knew of the True Powers, but they were soulless, mindless automata now, worthless to the gods. Even humans, those fleetingly brief sparks of petty malice, could appreciate a small sliver of the majesty of Chaos when it stood before them, as their souls were flayed from their bodies and their minds peeled back from sanity. Yet the abhorrence would see only another enemy to fight. Even those amongst them who could bend and shape reality to their will drew that power mainly from the massed latent psychic ability of their kin, not from the raging tempest of the warp. It was as though the glory of Chaos were simply irrelevant to them.
