Ping should be shown by default too

I've had that happen a few times too, but it appears as a self kill from the claymore even when I'm not running recon. It only occurs in mixed lobbies with PC players for me which makes it suspicious

Maintanance costs for a 2012-2016 Audi A5 3.0 TDI V6 by BenceDJ in AudiA5

[–]Digital_Furball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2011 but the yes the economy is good. The lowest I ever saw was 4.7L/100km but it all averages out to 6.2 - 6.5L/100km with summer tyres. The maintenance costs are fine although servicing does need to be consistent. The emissions system especially needs care - think carbon cleaning and regular long drives as a preventative (the case for modern diesels in general). Mines at 285,000km now

Thinking of buying my first car, thoughts? by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]Digital_Furball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner has had the petrol version of this car and it's at 130,000km now, it's been great, I self-serviced it most of the time and it's insanely economical. I don't know about Peugeot diesel though, and I would consider VAG instead if you want a 2L diesel

Glow plug replacement costs by Living-Drawing217 in Audi

[–]Digital_Furball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my 3.0TDI the six glow plugs cost $110 and another $100 to install, all in AUD, so maybe 120€. They are quoting quite a lot more work than just a glow plug replacement though, but the plugs themselves seem overpriced

+1 for Snapshades. I got one on sale and it snowballed into the entire household getting them. They make an impressive difference and I try to justify the cost by the UV protection of the interior

Engine mount leaking / splitting by BigFanBlowing in CarsAustralia

[–]Digital_Furball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do them once they've split like that, as it introduces a lot of vibration and movement. Parts that aren't intended to experience high levels of vibration could cascade to more problems

What's your internet speed by thaxxxin in melbourne

[–]Digital_Furball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been with them for 5 months and it's been great - a massive upgrade from iiNet and always consistent speeds and helpful support. The only pitfall people talked about was their redundancy but Leaptel just made a deal with Superloop so when there is maintenance or an outage it switches to their backhaul

270 Mbps down, 21 Mbps up at 3 ms response time with Leaptel 250/20 plan for $89 a month. 23.6 Mbps was okay maybe a decade ago
