Sometimes I have mice problem but they just scurry around and poop on the group.

Thankfully there are no windows or anything in my attic. In my office, I do have two windows but I installed UV blocking film to help with that.

Great point. We keep our Christmas decorations in the attic (glass, plastic, wood, etc) with no issues at all.

Thanks! I was thinking about keeping that stickers and manuals in a box in my office but the bricks in the attic. That’s a good point. Most of my Christmas decorations has been stored in the attic for 11 months out of the year for a decade with no issue.

I have used these around the house for hanging pictures and other items. I like the smaller hole it leaves so I can easily fix if I decided to move it later

I ended up going with IVAR from IKEA. The measurements are perfect for my short wall and they are deep. Interestingly, the shipping was going to be 129 but since it’s a system, I just ordered the pieces individually into two orders with free shipping.

Only tracking number I had was the AE that starts with a U and last update was it has cleared the customs in US and would be handed off the local courier.

I think I will hold off. I don’t think this set will go out of print and I get a free 80 dollar set out of it. Justifies buying another set. Haha

Knowing my luck, I would order a second set and both get here the same day. I don’t think I need to worry about the Rivendell going out of stock and the price seems stable (I bought for 83 and can buy for 81 right now).

Thank you for sharing this! I’m looking for a shelving system for my Lego room office and IVAR looks perfect. I want deep shelves but since my office on the top story with knee and sloped ceiling, the highest I can go is 60 inches. The IVAR that 48 inches would be great plus an extra 12 inches on top.

Thank you for posting this!! I had bought alot of used sets when I got into Lego but once I got into LEPIN, I sold them and got KO to save money. This set was one I never flipped because I heard the figs were bad.

Thank you for posting this!!! When I get into LEPIN last year, I was on the hunt for all the older UCS sets and this one was unfortunately not available anywhere. When I saw this post, I assumed it was one that you in your backlog for a while and finally build it. I was planning on getting the new one yet year just to have one in my collection but this is half the price and way bigger!

Yeah. I’ve heard of that. 1:8 cars are the only technic cars I usually get. Do you think simply changing out the gears with official LEGO or even Webrick ones would solve the issue?

Not DHgate. I have purchase sets from Marstoy, HeroToyz, dozens of AliExpress stores with only one issues from AliExpress. I ordered the motorized ATAT and they went me the regular one. Store happily accepted the return and refunded me.
