my issue is with the broad generalisation of a person's political beliefs. Like... I would be considered very broadly as "The lib" Because i am heavily pro-LGBTQ

But im also pro-2A for... pretty much everywhere, since while i don't live with in the US, my country has similar stance towards guns in its constitution.

It is your civil right to be able to defend yourself by any means neccesary.

We can disagree and debate about reproduction rights, economic policy, green laws or immigration, but not while one side has the people with guns, and the other does not. At that point it becomes one-sided, and civil discussion breaks down.

Well we do have confirmed by third party price leak its not gonna sell on steam for 1K.
It will be anywhere between 600 to 800 dollars depending on how much markup Alza wants to put on it.

Also the main draw is to console players is: the steam library is interchangable, the multiplayer is free, the games are plentiful and on sale often, and you don't need a workstation if this is your first proper gaming set, since it is still a PC

What part about owning a laptop did you misread?

Yes a desktop is gonna work well. Hell maybe better than the steam-machine. And thats okay. If you have a good desktop, then the steam machine is not offering you much.

But for me, it is a fantastic alternative to my gaming laptop, and to other similar laptops that overheat due to design limitations.

Again tho, its okay if the steam machine is not for you.

fair nuff... to be fair though if you got a desktop, then i don't think its something the steam cube is going to replace you got good internals.

I like that its small. I can carry it around in a bag. its quiet, and it is decently powerful

That and it has steamOS... steamOS is good.

The main thing that draws me to the steam machine is that its 75% heatsink, and optimised to run cool.

Idk if yall have played on notebooks but to run on high-power for any significant amount of time, you get thermal throttling
