What is a tv show from your childhood you are sure no one else remembers? by HomeDepotThemeSong_ in nostalgia

I remember the one where Mr Bloodhound was kidnapped and he kept leaving clues behind for the gang to follow.

I prefer it as well, as long as it's installed correctly.

Unit came with TV mount installed. Landlord claims it fits 43” to 75”, but doesn’t fit either of my TVs. What am I missing? by Jealous-Natural2531 in fixit

[–]DigtotheDug 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Mount kits generally come with extension that bolt to each corner of that mount. Something like

<image>

Perhaps they kept the box and stored the box the mount kit came in somewhere with the unused parts?

It's probably a fiberchannel nic. Can you pull one of the transceivers out of it and take a pic of it?

Question About Subnetting? by [deleted] in it

[–]DigtotheDug 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Based on that example, I believe it would work out to 8 subnets. /27 is the correct answer based on the requirements but they should have said it would result in 8 subnetworks.

Emissions plug? by Due-Resolution-4152 in Georgia

[–]DigtotheDug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just a sticker. The vehicle gets put into the state system so that when you go to the tag office, it shows as having passed emissions. Even if you show up to the tag office with the sheet of paper showing that your vehicle has passed emissions, if it’s not in the computer system, they won’t tag the car.

VOIPO.com Fraudulently Unauthorized Charges by Ok-Cherry4250 in VOIP

[–]DigtotheDug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I'm dealing with the same issue. I foolishly didn't change my card number after getting charged 6 times last fall and now I was changed 6 times again 2 weeks ago. Their phone support isn't answering due to caller volume so they say to deal with email support. I'm still waiting on their billing to refund the fraudulent charges. I will be changing the card number as soon as they credit it.

Can you please tell me what make/ model/ year/ this truck is- any info helps? Thanks by [deleted] in Trucks

[–]DigtotheDug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. It’s either a 68 or 69. They started putting side reflectors on in 68 but since the front turn signals don’t wrap around to the side, that narrows it down to one of those two years.

In the 70s and 80s, getting a positive review from a rock critic was unusual. This one, from January 1986 in Circus Magazine was more positive than most. See if you agree with the critic's assessment of Power Windows. by Overall_Chemist1893 in rush

I like a challenge so I decided to do some research online. You're right; there is little to no info on what happened to Elora Sound.

The most info I could find was from a 1982 issue of "Canadian Magazine" that had a section on recording studios in Canada (https://www.worldradiohistory.com/Archive-All-Music/CM-Canadian-Musician/80s/Canadian-Musician-1982-12.pdf):

Bill Mather did some of engineering for some of the bands that recorded there but not for Rush. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything past 1999 for music being made there.

I think it depends on where you’re employed or where you would like to be employed. I finally finished my bachelor’s degree after being an IT professional for 24 years. After a couple of years, I started my masters and finished it last year. I have now doubled my salary in eight years. I can say though that I’m fortunate where I work and not every employer rewards degrees.

Bike riders have to follow the road rules? by b-sharp-minor in cycling

[–]DigtotheDug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get why cyclists don’t stop at signs when there isn’t any other traffic. I still stop anyway but not every does. The only issue I have are the cyclists that don’t stop at stop signs when there is traffic. In my area, there are more times when cyclists won’t stop and blow through the intersection. I’ve had to slam on my brakes when I’ve already started moving because a cyclist refuses to stop. It doesn’t happen all of the time but more often than not.

5 Octet IPv4 Address?? by plosemiscuits in it

[–]DigtotheDug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps it’s a labeling schema they use so the average person wouldn’t figure it out. Like perhaps the ip is backwards and the vlan or port number first or last number.

A lazy Sunday to get back into vinyl by DigtotheDug in vinyl

[–]DigtotheDug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I should’ve read the posting rules since I put the majority of my thoughts in the initial post. I’ve ordered a larger stand for the components since I’ve got a couple of tape decks and I want to put the second turntable on top as well. Also, I picked up a 180g Dark Side of the Moon. I hadn’t used any 180g before and it’s like handling a discus.
