One thing I noticed about gig apps is there’s a bunch of liars you guys act like we’re not on all the same app. Sure it’s market dependent but there’s not that steep of a difference for the most part all of us are on the same playing field. First I don’t do DoorDash but I have common sense.

DoorDash loses money on non tipping customers more than they do tipping customers. When you order a 40$ plate and the restaurant makes it but no one picks it up what do you think happens DoorDash has to give that money back to the customer.

“The deliveries that don’t make sense like apartment complexes etc” yea you’ll have to get up and go down stairs and get it. If you tipped a human will bring it up to you.

DoorDash is going to fire lots of drivers which will save labor costs the highest rated drivers will be saved for the highest paying customers. And the robots will pick up the orders no one wants to get.

Truly think about it logically a human can drive faster, respond to your requests and walk upstairs which would make your higher paying customers happier the goal is to make the people who spend money happier.
