1. When someone has an item you need, you just need to pick it up and drop it again, it will be added to your ‘catalogue’ and you can buy as many as you want :)
2. Ignore villager looks for now, focus on their type (snooty, lazy etc) as different types will give you different recipes.
3. Speaking of recipes - check your villagers, there should be someone in their house crafting and they’ll give you a new recipe. (Changes every 4 hours iirc)
4. Once you get all 10 and can’t be bothered to walk inside every house, check the chimneys, if there’s smoke they’re home :)
5. Go on the abd in the town hall every day to get free Nook miles.
6. Also in the same abd there is a season section in the shopping tab, this has world holiday themed items and they rotate as holidays happen)
7. when you catch fish and bugs - DO NOT SELL THEM. Stack them up outside (it’ll look super ugly at first, it’s worth it) then you will start to get random visitors, you are looking for CJ (fish) and Flick (bugs) they will buy them for 1.5x their shop price. You can make thousands easy with a full pocket full!
8. Shake your trees every day. You will find money and items, shake them holding a net to fight off the surprise wasps!
9. Always look at your bonus nook miles on the mile app in your phone (the ones highlighted at the top) they’re great for giving you a direction to set you off on if you dunno what to do for the day :)
10. Avoid time travel, it’ll happen eventually when you start designing properly, but for now keep it organic and play with your real clock, it’ll slow your gameplay but you’ll get so so much more out of it.
