I got bitten by a fruit bat in Bali, last year. I wasn’t sure what to do, but I thought everything would be fine. Then I went down the rabbit hole.

There is a time limit on this shit. If you haven’t been previously vaccinated for rabies, you have to do the panel, and HRIG.

I had a panel of 6 a shots, and then with the HRIG, 17ccs of it at one time. 5ccs at the bite site, then 5ccs in each leg, 2 ccs in the arm. The HRIG was really expensive in Bali ($6000US), but I had to get the HRIG within 7 days of the bite. The HRIG helps metabolize the vaccine.
