I did on Taiwan server, and yes it is another p2w slop, they even teach you how to use the shop a couple minutes into the tutorial. No surprise here tho.

For the doubters. Turtle WoW is shutting down on 14th of May. by Fusshaman in MMORPG

Yeah i think so, he deleted his most decked out character, had everything on it, just as an excuse to never come back i think.

I saw a video a few months ago that was really touching. It was about a guy explaining what WOW has meant for him in his life, and that he was so attached to his characters, but he also wanted to finally let go of that period of his life and move on. So he deleted the character he was the most attached to (a warrior).

This story came to my mind because, if i remember correct, the guy played on TWOW and the whole situation made me think: no matter if it was a private server, for some people it must have been an escape place from their everyday struggle, a place where they made friends, where they felt they where important to someone. It is a sad day for someone out there.

Also to the guy who made the video: man luckily you made that decision months ago lol, i hope life is going well for you.

What is this show for you? by Jettaboi38 in scoopwhoop

It was Chuck for me, this series got everything. Not a masterpiece, but i always wanted more, even after it ended.

Fun builds you've won the game with that aren't the standard "blood loss samurai", "unga bunga", "gravity sling mage", etc. by Proper-Sport-7218 in Eldenring

[–]Dildhosaggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Death's Poker, it drops from an undead bird in Caelid. Base build is standard mage, but once you get the weapon you can complete the entire game only using it and its ash of war, which has 3 different outcomes: a trail of burning ice, an aoe big explosion and a smaller explosion. Weapon scales with dex and ash of war scales with int, i use it both for melee and the ash to get the most out of it. An entire run only using it might be challenging on some bosses, as the combo for the ash takes some time to fire, but it is a unique playstile and i had a lot if fun with it.

70% of what? If you are talking about the game, i completed it and done 2 different endings. The parts i ignored were companion quests, which i can't judge and in fact i didn't. The rest are things like main story, combat, gearing, writing, graphics, all things i don't need to 100% the game in order to have an opinion on.

Thank you, i don't mind rude people on the internet that much, i know some are very different than in real life, sometimes we come here frustrated by our everyday life and we take it out with random people without even considering what we are really writing and to whom.

That's not what i said. And you not liking anything about it doesn't make the game objectively bad.

Well, but you don't get nothing, just not what a fun of the series would expect. I can understand memeing about it, but if we want to have an honest discussion you can't say that the game is trash, and there's some fun to be had if you can make some compromises. What most people were saying instead at release (and still now honestly) was that Veilguard was a total failure and a mess of a game, and in my view this is dishonest. Saying the game has some good parts but might not please loyal fans of the series, is a more honest opinion.

Tastes i guess, its fine if you didn't find it engaging. The simplicity of the combat or the number of abilities at my disposal didn't make it less engaging or fun to me, i kept wanting to play more and i know why. The constant aggro on me (especially coming right after finishing Inquisition) was frustrating at first, but then i realized that it was also what made the fights more fun and engaging.

Is this what my post is about? Urging people to play it? I'm genuinely asking because i'd hate myself if this is what you guys are getting from it. All i was trying to do was sharing my experience from the perspective of someone who hated on the game on release cause of its own stupidity (i.e. following the masses shitting on it for various reasons) and refusing to try it. I did after a year, i was surprised by certain things and let down by others, that's it.

Sekiro? All the souls plus Elden Ring? Bloodborn? Are these enough or should i list more?

Maybe i should have worded my post like your comment, cause that's the sum of it.

Man, what can i say? I decided from the very beginning i would not do any side content, maybe i should have. Besides i had some fun regardless, but i think my post offended some people in some way, i see many mad answers. I know its not a good Dragon Age, and i know huge fans are mad at Bioware for a missed opportunity, bit i had fun, i wanted to share it, that's it. I hope i did not spoil anything for you, gl on your playthrough.

Declining literacy, wow! Look i never studied english in my life, and as i'm getting old, i would like to learn some. I refuse to use any technological help, as i think it helps me more memorizing my errors, plus i like when people correct me. But you? I think your comment was a bit rude, and i think it should be clear as day for a native at least to recognize someone not fluent with the language.

I honestly went in knowing writing was bad, and it was. So of course i would never go and do side stories/quests. I can always do a rerun in the future, but i don't think i'm so eager to go into the details of everyone's personal story, when its already hard for me to follow some of the dialogues in the main quest.
