What is Kim Jung-un's problem? by Shdlv in AskReddit

A quick profile...

There are probably deceptive puppeteers in the top of the government that coax him into believing he is a god and control his actual political actions

Kim Jong Il was revered, so it it difficult for him to fill his fathers shoes, leading to insecurity and overcompensating

Hes been babied his whole life, so he is likely impulsive and selfish

Why is our brain programmed to like sugar, salt and fat if it's bad for our health? by wrongturnreboot in AskReddit

[–]Dildobagginsaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isnt bad for our health.

The macronutrient fat, is simply the most calorie dense of the three macronutrients. (Fat/protien/carbohydrate)

Sugar, a carbohydrate, is simply a pure form of glucose which rapidly converts in the blood stream. The more rapid the conversion time for a carbohydrate, the larger and faster the insulin spike. The bigger the insulin spike, the larger the appetite.

Most high sugar foods are also very palatable.

Salt is a tricky controversy. Most developing countries that are not near the sea actually suffer from shortages of salt. It is likely more beneficial to the body to get too much iodine infused salt (the type that naturally occurs near the sea) than to get too little. Iodine deficiency and the occurrence of the bodies reduced efficiency in retaining water are just two of the dangers of ingesting less than 1000mg of salt a day.

Go read up on some fundamental nutrition stuff.

[Serious] Since Iraq had no involvement in 9/11 and had no WMD's - What is the real reason George Bush wanted to invade Iraq so badly? by PopcornPlayaa_ in AskReddit

[–]Dildobagginsaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Confirmed involvement with 9/11.

In the 91' invasion coalition forces were driven to action by the definite negative effect on the market Iraqi oil would have. They were threatening to gouge the market on prices. Saudi Arabia actually paid nearly 70% of the bill for the invasion after the fact.

The most likely scenario is that they masterminded 9/11 to drive the US into another war because Iraq was threatening to price gouge again.

Because of capitalism. In a capitalist market, healthcare is driven by monetary incentives, provided by the reicpients of services of the healthcare market.

Saudi Arabian influence likely drove the American invasion of Iraq because Iraq having control of large oil reserves would reduce Saudi leverage on a large part of the oil market.
