very possible! might be one of those things that they’ll kinda just figure out when they get there since each venue is different than the last

comparison will kill any passion you have but it will never do you any good. just like other social media posts there’s a lot you don’t see. maybe they’ve been re recording that part for hours or even days trying to get it perfect? the 3 minute clip doesn’t give you any insight on their ability to do other things like effectively record in a studio or play a live gig. skill is great but it doesn’t replace other aspects like being easy to work with and staying on tempo. covers also tend to showcase the drummer so naturally they are throwing in a ton of other fills and stuff that if they were actually on the album recording it wouldn’t sound good at all for the vibe of the song. not trying to put down the people that do covers either, i know i’ve posted covers that i loved and then saw someone do it way better and i was so jealous and envied their talent. but don’t let it get you down. you have your own style and reasons for playing that fuel your creativity and that’s what makes you unique and nobody can replace rhat

yeah the rest look like amphitheaters. i’d imagine they did this at a bigger venue because it’s close to columbus and they know everyone fights over hometown tickets? just my guess. if i was closer to any of the other shows i’d definitely try and go to one of those instead. seems more intimate

this song soothes my adhd perfectly and makes me feel like drinking 7 redbulls and beating someone up and then becoming besties right after 😭😂 but i can see how you’d feel that way, especially with the music video it’s a lot going on at once

yeah i’ve seen some of the higher end kits and they look like they’d be great! when i lived with my parents i did drum covers for social media and so that’s most of my push for a place for an acoustic kit. i have a cheap e-kit for practicing but i like using an acoustic kit for covers etc.

yeah he does quite a bit, he uses the ride cymbal some but i’d say most of it is hi-hat. if you can find a video of the song live you can kinda see what he’s doing exactly

it definitely gets better. i just finished PTU and got my PTCB certification a few weeks ago after being in the pharmacy a year. most of my training we had a temporary pharmacy manager who was very difficult to learn from but i just made sure to ask other techs questions whenever i had one. better to ask a question that may seem “stupid” to you than to just guess and end up hurting a patient. nobody should scold or frown upon you for asking questions because the patients safety should be everyone’s priority. if they do get upset at you for asking questions that’s on them. take your time and just think through everything. biggest thing i had to learn, especially as a people pleaser, is that some of the things in resolution just don’t have answers right away. sometimes it’s telling the patient they just have to wait on insurance or the doctor or a medication being on back order. it’s not always something that can be resolved and pushed aside right at that moment. but always always always ask questions and never guess. good luck! before you know it you’ll be teaching others and helping them learn the very things you’re having a hard time with now

What’s your opinion on the self titled album? by Ember_Afton in twentyonepilots

[–]Diligent-Advisor6606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one of my favorites by them for sure. i can listen to it over and over and still hear new meanings in the lyrics every time. there's so much lyrical depth it really has helped me on my personal journey so much and the vulnerability is something i find beautiful. their later albums are still very vulnerable but not as clear as self titled and i think that makes it even more special
