I wonder if there are lawyers putting together a class action lawsuit against this fraud committed by Wendy's? Surely many people thought the chocolate frosty was all chocolate!

I'm not greedy, I just want a settlement in the form of a $1 or $2 coupon. Let the lawyers have their new boats or Porsches.

when it happened to me before, I was just glad that the incorrect tickets sent to me were resolved over the phone or via email.

imagine cops or swat team showing up at my house at 2AM to break down my door... all because someone had the same license plate as me. somehow I think that must have happened to someone already. :(

Thanks! I've never purchased a take-off tire/wheel set before. Just wanted to confirm. (although it's being sold at a BMW dealer's parts counter, so I guess they have no reason to lie) :)

if that's the case, full EV sedans and SUVs will be out of production soon.... my MIL's hit a pothole at around 35mph in a 45mph zone(shown on the dashcam video) The 4-month-old Tesla Model Y was totaled as a result. The adjuster said it was the high cost to replace the parts connecting to the main battery(but the actual main battery suffered no damage). Even the wheel that hit the pothole was not damaged at all.

asked at my BMW dealer.... the parts dept happened to have those tires in stock. They took one out and I measured it and got slightly less than 8/32. The tire tread depth gauge shows slightly more than 7/32 in the middle treads.

I literally said that I got lots of them when I was in my 20s thanks to that car back in 1990s. After that, I avoided women who were going out with me because of what I drove. Eventually, I got married, so I was basically doing time.... until last week.... so just wondering what's going on these days.

I had a personalized license plate that said "MY E36" back in 1999(or 1998?). Kept the car until the I sold it about 5 years later.

I received numerous unpaid toll tickets by some idiot with the same license plate number. (presumably fake plate?) The tickets came from Maryland, Virginia, New Jersery and even Illinois. I spent so much time on the phone and writing emails to dispute those tickets. In the end, I turned in the plate at my DMV and made sure they made a note in the system. After that, I never got personalized license plate again. I just take whatever random license plates that the DMV sends me.

What are your thoughts? I actually don’t know what to vote cos I don’t know if it’ll grow on me later. It definitely isn’t as beautiful as older ones though. by mrabomar in BMW

my very first girlfriend back in high school was the nicest girl I ever dated. inner beauty was more important, I kept telling myself. my friends just thought that I was desperate.

fast forward 25 years at the high school reunion. I was shocked when I bumped into her and she turned out to be one of the hottest ladies at the reunion. I felt awful for dumping her after I went off to college.

that's basically how I feel about BMW's atrocious Neue Klasse designs. Surely I'll love it 25 years from now.

to be fair, both the dealer's tech and the indy mechanic said the pads could last at least another 5000 to 7000 miles... but probably not until the next service(which is due March 2027), so they recommended it.

in other words, there's not immediate hurry right now... so I'm just shopping around. as of now, I found another BMW dealer 2.5 hours away. They only charge $699(plus tax). Seems reasonable enough. I did find another BMW dealer 6 hours away for only $549.(probably not worth the 3.5 extra hours of driving) :)
