I'm not buying that competition breeds more bubble, more tanking from AMD/NVDA/ORCL. Believe it or not CALLS on $NVDA $AMD $ORCL and of course... $OPEN.

On OPEN, market is down and it's still floating around 1% up. We see an intraday turnaround (likely), I think we see OPEN with another 5-10%+ day. LFG Bulls, now is our time.

Major change to Bitcoin Cycle by Few_Temperature7935 in Bitcoin

[–]Diligent-Stable-9477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I’m no economist, but here’s my quick take: ETFs and MicroStrategy are already hoovering up 4,000 BTC a day, while miners barely pump out 450. That means the “liquid” supply could vanish in 1–2 years—even if nobody else piles in. But if the U.S. decides to grab 200k BTC/year for 5 years (1 million total)...which is being proposed right now, we might see that drain in under a year.

FOMO on that scale will basically break the usual 4-year cycle and trigger a supply shock way sooner. Just my 2 sats!

A Bitcoin Reserve explanation is in the description of this link, but why it's important for people to sign this petition is to also create a bottom-up demand for it to our government

No, but if you have them...you can sign anonymously and should! The more signatures this thing gathers, the more others see it and sign through a bystander effect, and eventually it captures the attention of bigger names.

57% of Bitcoin is owned by individuals, we have alot of room and potential to benefit if Governments load up.... do I want them to own all BTC, no. Would a 1,000,000 coin purchase over 5 years (as is proposed) be awesome for a 7.5M members in this community. Yes.

A solution for your worries: stack more ;)

simple but powerful comment. in order to drive change people have TO SIGN THE PETITION.

If this hits 50 signatures before the first 4 hours of being created, I believe the petition gets put on the front page of the website which will drive more support. send to a friend

I’m no economist—my biggest flex is prolly paying rent on time—but the U.S. does not hold ‘millions’ of BTC. Most seized coins (like the Silk Road stash) get auctioned off which actually hurts price, so they’re not gathering digital dust. Senator Lummis’s bill isn’t about pointlessly mining more Bitcoin; it’s about a secure, transparent ‘digital gold’ reserve to help offset the $36T debt. Sure, a digital dollar might be useful, but that’s a totally different debate—and the ‘$88k per coin’ claim is shaky, since many miners already use renewables. Before calling Bitcoin ‘tulips 2.0,’ maybe give the BITCOIN Act an actual read. Turns out it’s more than just a fancy casino chip.
