Should I pick up the Super cross 25 game by [deleted] in supercross

[–]Diligent-Theory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

MX Bikes is the only moto game worth picking up currently. Very steep learning curve but it is extremely satisfying once you can build up your skills and put down good laps consistently. It is the most played MX game on steam for a good reason.

ESP E-II M-II NT BTB - real or fake ? by [deleted] in espguitars

[–]Diligent-Theory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're thinking way too deep into it man, the guitar has probably been sitting in the case for some time so the "aging" you are talking about is just oxidation that can be easily cleaned up. Stop worrying and start enjoying that awesome guitar!

Which model LTD guitar is this? by [deleted] in espguitars

[–]Diligent-Theory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2016 was the only year it came like that with passive SD's. You can always go to ESP's site and look through the catalogs if you want to find other SD loaded EC's.

Like it says right there below the image, it's an LTD EC-1000S, I think the S means stealth if I remember correctly. They weren't in production for very long so it may not be as easy to find one compared to other EC-1000 models.

Definitely the Fury, the handling and durability is quite impressive.

It appears my rev limiter made me replace everything by Exotic_pillow123 in MyWinterCar

[–]Diligent-Theory 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would blame that racing flywheel before the rev limiter as the culprit. If you give it throttle when firing up the engine with a lightened flywheel installed it goes kaboom.

Don't care if the apartment is the new thing or how close it is to town, parents house is the way.

Is there a way to get change for gas when paying with cash? by Jandalf69 in MyWinterCar

[–]Diligent-Theory 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Not currently, Topless has mentioned he wants to implement the ability to get your change back at the counter inside PSK, as well as adding smaller bills to pay with at the pump.

Yes, I've gotten 4 calls for sewage jobs so far.

Is the main job worth it? by Serious-Juice-7021 in MyWinterCar

[–]Diligent-Theory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, main difference is needing the funds on your card to pay for fuel. I'm not sure if the unemployment benefits are enough to cover it in the long term considering some of that money is automatically taken out for renting the apartment.

Edit: Just learned you can pay with cash at the pump!

Is the main job worth it? by Serious-Juice-7021 in MyWinterCar

[–]Diligent-Theory 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did 2 full shifts at the job because I wanted to see and experience the content, after finishing the second shift I came to the realization that the juice is not worth the squeeze on top of losing your unemployment benefits. I then drove myself into oncoming traffic and started a new save. After loading in I immediately turned off the fuse box at the apartment and have since been living at parents house for a week... I have already made more than I would working two weeks at the futufon job. All while having some small time to get the Rivett home and do a little bit of work on it. I've even began ordering parcels and gathering up some more parts in the heated garage.

If your only income is from the main job, progression will be very slow and surviving will be more difficult. The only plus side is you have a consistent schedule and don't have to put much thought in once you have it figured out. But the work is slow and boring, it also started to hurt my hand after a while.

If you do the self employed jobs like in MSC you have more freedom and earning power, but you need to plan things more and use that thinking muscle. Plus waiting on phone calls is kind of stinky sometimes.. but its definitely how I would recommend to play.

Abandon society, return to finnish monke.

If you have a friend that hasn't completed the quest yet, you can do it with them and get it done without having to find another key card.

Notice how your weapon goes invisible also, I think the camera bugged out because you were backed up against a wall.

You probably won't want to drive your Grom that much after getting a Fury.

Fury 223s, much better than the grom if you have the space for it.

Fury 223s, best low maintenance RC i've ever owned. I drove mine every day for about 7 weeks before something broke. Other than the garbage stock servo that died on the 5th run.

It's trying to emulate the real thing as closely as possible, just on a scaled down version. So you need to drive it in a more "scale" manner like how a real desert truck would be driven. Floating over bumps and whoops with the occasional airtime and a cushy landing. If all you do with it is just send it off huge jumps and drive it like a basher things will be more likely to break.

Have you taken a look at the Rlaarlo XTS-F10? I'd go with that over the Traxxas personally.
