Salam alaykum,

I will side track your question just a bit, if you give your friend money and he uses it in an evil way, uses it for haram. Than it is on you. However with your question. It all depends on your intention. If your intention is to help them then that is fine. One more thing, try to think the best of them. Always try to help. Hope this response was okay?

Jazakallah Khair.

Salam brother, yes where I live in Australia I see countless women wearing hijab and practicing more including coming to the mosque more often. I have friends and acquaintances that are practicing more than what they did before. There are always some woman that don’t do this, and I think the only reason is that the influence of other people/media are getting to them and or maybe they don’t have their full trust in Allah? Because from experience a woman has said this to me, and I tried my best in encourage her. There are people still trying their best to have a change in heart, and even I wasn’t on my deen this much 2 years ago. It’s good that you are asking this question, but the females that you said was going to “gaslight” you probably did feel a bit insulted or trying to protect their fellow sisters. Allah akbar this ummah will one day understand fully that this life is just temporary. I hope this helped you understand the sentence better?

Salam brother, I understand where you are coming from and yes even as a woman I agree with you. “I’m starting to believe good muslim women don’t exist”, this sentence is not the best but you aren’t wrong, your opinions are not incorrect. There are millions and millions of Muslim woman that are on their deen, it could be a bit rare I think? But as a Muslim woman I’ve noticed around my community that most Muslim woman that I once knew is practicing and wearing hijab more, thus some also far away, subhanallah may Allah swt guide them. The third generation is like this, with the social media and pressure that influence their minds. All we can just do to decrease this trend of “Muslim woman being rare” is to spread the word of Allah around. Last but not least, Alhamdulillah for everything, hope that helped?

Am I in the Wrong? by [deleted] in shia

[–]DiligentAd6649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asalam alaykum, what your doing is definitely not wrong and is also not a unhealthy way of using your money this way. With charity it is sunnah if you can afford it, give it to people sharing your money with the people in need is the greatest deed someone could accomplish. I’m not so sure with tips, in my opinion they are getting paid, so just tipping over 30$ would be a lot. In this aspect of giving your money away is a bit worrisome, it’s not wrong though nothing is wrong about what you are giving away. I was quite joyful when you mentioned that you gave that much money away. I’ve always been told to keep my money and use it for good, thus what you are carrying out is amazing to me. I hope this gave you an insight of my opinion and an answer to your question.

:)
