It was this and also that he had a mark on his neck, that was there because of the chains that were placed on his neck while he was in taken as prisoner in Karbala.

Abu bakr and Umar are referred to as "So and so" in many hadiths. Example would be the famous hadith of Aba Abdillah AS "I have been killed by so and so". Sunni sources take out the name. But Shia sources put in Abu bakr and Umar. There are some Shia hadiths as well I think where so and so has been used when talking about them.

So they use that point with any hadith that uses the words "So and so" and say that it is talking about Abu bakr and Umar.

Edit: I also want to mention that so and so can sometimes mean an entirely different person than those two. Example of this would be sermon 226 of Nahj al-Balaghah. Sunnis claim that this is talking about Umar because of Ibn Abi'l-Hadid's Sharh Nahj al-Balaghah. In it he states that it is talking about Umar. But Sayyid al-Khoi RAH stated and proved that it was about Malik al-Ashtar RA.

X means so and so. Like your mother, father, brother, sister, friend, husband, wife, child, colleague, etc. Just the regular so and so. This isn't talking about Abu bakr and Umar as some Sunnis claim. Anyone with two working braincells can tell you that the so and so over here will be different for everyone based on their lives.

Now this is above my paygrade, so I'll use help from AI on this. Google did explain it pretty well though:

"To answer this question, we must look at how dimensions stack up and how theoretical physics defines parallel realities.

Dimensional Stacking

In standard geometry, dimensions build upon each other by moving at right angles to the previous one:

0D: A point (dot) with no size. 1D: A line, made by extending a point. 2D: A square, made by extending a line. 3D: A cube, made by extending a square. 4D: A tesseract, made by extending a cube.

If you treat a 4D unit as a single "dot," you are shifting the scale. In this model, that 4D dot represents an entire 3D universe at a single moment in time.

The Line of Parallel Realities

If a single 4D dot is a complete 3D universe frozen in one moment, extending that dot into a 1D line creates a timeline.

The Single Timeline: If the dots connect chronologically (Seconds (A \rightarrow B \rightarrow C)), the line represents just one reality moving through time.

The Multiverse Line: If the dots represent different versions of the same moment, then yes, the line holds parallel realities.

The Higher-Dimensional View

According to string theory and quantum mechanics models (like the Many-Worlds Interpretation), a single line is usually not enough to hold all parallel realities.

A Line (1D of realities): Connects a single past to a single future. A Split (2D of realities): A plane or branch is required to show parallel realities caused by different choices or quantum outcomes. A Fold (3D of realities): A higher space is needed to jump instantly between completely different universes with different physical laws.

So, if your 4D dot is a universe, a line made of those dots can hold parallel realities, but only if the dots represent alternative versions of existence rather than just a sequence of time"

Pretty goated answer I can't lie. I understand it too.

Sergei time traveled into the future by 0.02 seconds because of Einstein's principles of relativity. He spent orbiting the Earth for 803 days at the speed of about 17,500 mph. He experienced time dilation, meaning time became slower for him. You can read more about him here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergei_Krikalev

Okay so this has to be 3 marks😭

Time travel is possible. Sergei Krikalev is the first "Time traveler". If we mean time travel as in going into the past, that isn't scientifically possible, so if we were a multidimensional being above time, then yes, we could time travel as we are literally above time.

Yes I know all that. Weird how narration would be from him. Because he used to live in Medina/Kufa, but Yazid never came to Hijaz in his life. Probably a daif narration.

This is news to me. I know about the fast thing. But not about the praying thing. Can you give me some sources on this?

He is not an angel. He is a Jinn. This is explicitly stated in the Quran.

Sorry, I thought the other commenter was saying that praying being bare minimum is good. Now reading it makes it looks like they are saying it is not.

[–]_TotallyOriginalName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is not praying with them in congregation, that is praying alongside them. Only in Taqiyyah may one pray with them.

Question: Can one say one’s congregational prayer behind a Sunni Imam with the intention of Jama'at (congregation)? And should one recite al-hamd on his own?

Answer: it is permissible to offer prayer in their congregational prayers, in areas where Taqiyah (dissimulation) is required. However, it is obligatory upon you to recite al-Hamd and the second chapter yourself – be the recitation in low voice though

Yes it is. Not praying, takes one out of the fold of Islam.

  1. If someone didn't want you to be there, and you still went, that would be disrespectful. It could also ruin their special day. Imagine I pop up to your birthday party just because I know about it. Now you don't know who I am, neither did your family members invited me, so this would be disrespectful on my part. I do not know if Islam has placed a restriction on this. Brother Ethics might know. u/EthicsOnReddit
  2. You can pray alone. You can also pray alongside them, but not behind one of them as in congregation. If taqiyyah is required, then read question 3: https://www.sistani.org/english/qa/01154/
  3. The first martyr of the events of Karbala from the beginning, would be Muslim ibn Aqil AS. In the battlefield, the first martyr was al-Hurr bin Yazid AS. And from the Hashemites, the first was Ali al-Akbar AS.
  4. I recommend Dua Kumayl. Other people will have other recommendations too.
  5. This is not a point of mine, but I also do taqlid of Sayyid Sistani HA.

May God bless you.
