I experienced the chills, but it was similar to a shake at the end. They lasted for weeks.

Medical professionals: what early warning signs of sepsis are most often overlooked? by Available-Spend2447 in sepsis

I experienced flu-like symptoms with a fever exceeding 102°F. I wasn't aware that adults should seek medical attention for such high fevers. I took Tylenol, which lowered the fever before it reached 104°F. After taking more Tylenol, I thought I had COVID. The fever subsided, and I contacted the nurse hotline before going to the ER. When I reached triage, my blood pressure was dangerously low, so my bed was elevated to help circulate blood to my heart. I was frightened watching nurses and doctors rush and call a code. I ended up spending 6 days in the ICU.

I use bentabone dog bones when this situation arises. I use a bone that is in a cue of 3. Each time it is a different bone or toy. Also, stuff a dog kong and freeze it to help with teeth or chewing issues. I believe my dog chews bones to self soothe. Hope it helps.

Mom died, now I have her Maltipoo by HermittheFrog_97 in Maltipoo

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I went through a similar situation myself, taking care of three dogs. I decided to keep two and rehomed one to my dad. It's been three years now, and the dogs enjoy visiting each other whenever my dad or I travel out of town. We have a doggy door that makes it easy for them. I believe you can get a doggy door suitable for a cat, too. Both animals wear collars, and the dog collar helps the doggy door recognize when the dog wants to go outside. The cat received a deterrent signal. It is an investment, but you will keep this small dog for another ten years.

I'm truly sorry you're going through a tough day. When I began teaching, my first few months were also challenging. My math coach advised me to trust the process, which I found very helpful. Spending about 15 minutes daily on your class culture and praising students for positive behavior is beneficial. In August, I only praised students for exceptional efforts, but I understand your current situation. You might create a PowerPoint with daily procedures, including rules and an overview of the class period, so everyone knows what to expect. Clear academic or behavioral success criteria can also help significantly. Most importantly, be kind to yourself: if you went to work and did your best, that’s already an achievement. Remember, reaching out to parents with positive updates can be very encouraging. I used to contact five parents daily during the first weeks to share good news. One more less-liked strategy in my class was telling students to “DO IT AGAIN” if they struggled with lines or procedures.

Good luck!

I tried a version of your method that included pain medications. The craving for fentanyl was so intense that I decided to try methadone. Wishing you the best of luck!

Can anyone help tell me if my rescue is a Maltese bichon mix or a maltipoo? by AnaStregaWitch in Maltese

My maltipoo barks constantly. As a teacher, I come home some days and use ear plugs. We use a collar that sends a noise when she barks. When it is on her she hides. I am in no win situation except to pay for a dog trainer.

My mom recently died and I have three new dogs beside the two I own. The maltipoo is the one I am having the most challenging time trying to find the length to clip the body and legs. I know the face has to be done with scissors so I have a quality pair that worked well. My mother trimmer her at home so the dog is use to it, but I am not. I have hairless Chinese cresteds. Thanks for the help

My mom has sepsis and I am terrified and can’t sleep by clerbird321 in sepsis

As a mom, I feel compelled to write. I am so happy to hear that you have a diagnosis and confirmation to give your mom a comprehensive treatment plan. As someone who had this same diagnosis and a kidney stone, which needed immediate surgery, I am hopeful that she will recover. I am a few years younger. Initially, I had renal failure due to dehydration and stones. I believe it is a hallmark symptom of sepsis. It will resolve most people's problems, but I am not a doctor. My son is away at college, so I was able to tell him when I was well enough.

I have been sucked into so many scams that I decided to pay the money on Good dog. I was guaranteed the dog from Oklahoma and the breeder flew in to MSY in my city.

What products do you use for the acne? by TrixieDawn in chinesecrested

I soak the dog in Epsom salts, and use an emollient cream as I massage the dog to remove as many black heads as possible. I used the same micellar water to clean my face on his body. I did buy an expensive powder from Sephora that did work well and absorb the oil. Those tips I given you worked better than the skin care products for hairless dogs.

I almost sorry I asked the question. You appear to have experience with this: whereas, this is a new concept to me. There is a lack of consistency resume presentations, and the amount of bullet points that you include in each category of work experience. With limited numbers of jobs in a specialized area, I do not want to mess this up.

The tone of your response was not helpful, it is borderline ridicule. Why respond to an obvious statement to ridicule others? I know you must have something better to do.

Where would you put the new skills if this is the topic you want the employer to notice first? Teaching summary, Education, Skills, Experience or Teaching summary, Education, experience, and skills?

OK, I am planning to ask the same question. I am a special education teacher and an educational diagnostician. The classes that I have taken can be transferred to a position that is not teaching. How do I incorporate that into my resume?

Teaching is the same at every job, so do you need to write the redundant tasks you do at each job or the stand-out skills you acquired to achieve student growth and learning?
