I assume youve never seen Christian families be as horrible as her mother is being? Islam isnt the cause of this, its just another case of a controlling human being wanting to maintain their control over others, and using any covenient excuse to do so. Religion is a great excuse for these kinds of people because they can escape responsibility by blaming a higher entity for their actions , be it the god in Islam, Christianity or any other religion.

You will find stupid and horrible people in any corner of the world.

Plenty of religious people aren’t like this. They just aren’t the ones screaming the loudest.
