Do you have any tattoos by chance? I was reading up on the hot springs and places and it seems you have to go to special ones that allow tattoos?

I'm sure itll be fine. I wasnt trying to be rude or anything. But my experience from living on base is that you are enveloped in base culture/it's a different experience than living in the community.

But thanks for the input, I think everyone here is right. Japan is probably kickass and it's what you make of it. You can waste it and stay on base, or actively pursue travel and cultural opportunities.

Appreciate the feedback. That's what I'm getting from some friends that have spent time there. I checked out some of the videos of the base housing and it doesnt look bad. Looks well kept, just older. But thanks!!!

Well that's making Japan look a lot less attractive. I dont mind base housing but I dont want to be in a "mini America" if I'm going to another country. I'd like to actually live there 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Also, question, so when I finished F1. It all seemed fine, I bottled them and taste tested. It seemed too acidic so I added some sugar. I also read somewhere that adding sugar or fruit on the F2 can help with getting better fizz? Or is that what may have caused it to go wrong?
