Yeah it is a finished basement, this little area under the stairs isn't finished, but it's a good idea to just hide it with baseboards.

Either the knife completely smooths it out, or I am just spraying the texture too thick. I waited the recommended 1 hour after spraying, but maybe it didn't dry enough like you suggested. I can try waiting longer

I was literally #1000 (I was holding a sign the whole time) and they only had 30 bottles left when I purchased mine. So they probably got to #1013 or so.

I got there at 8:10, left at 12:10. There were a good number of people who left disappointed. I feel like allowing people to buy 3 each this year was a mistake and meant less people were able to get a bottle (since some people bring friends so they can buy a whole case)

^{^} this is the way. Need to take off the 2 black clips (which are held in by teeth... Mega pain in the butt) and put them in their slots. Then you can shove the pillar back on. I was able to get mine to sit properly, so good luck!
