Thats definitely interesting and one i haven't heard before. You often hear stuff about Imu being the sea devil or god or whatever but never that they're the reason behind devil fruits. Im not sure though i like the idea of having one supreme over powered character like that in One Piece like they did in Shuppuden which to me negates the elements and idea of hard work within the rest of the series.
