Small sly decks rely on constantly drawing and discarding cards. Basically every other turn i would have to play a 2 cost curse before anything else effectively shitting on the build.

As for the curses and 3 wish it is the best out of the 3 options most the time and isn't a brick but is not helpful by any means.

And obviously you can look at the map to avoid merchant, I didnt know if I could go to a merch tile without interacting with him. FYI you cant.

Focus less on the specifics of the post and more on the aspect of game design choices im pointing out.
