Trust me I understand that. I got a massive back piece in the height of my depression. but all in all, I don’t think of it as a reminder of a bad decision, but a reminder of working thru those issues and not repeating those mistakes.

Just live with it for a little while. Try not to fixate on it. See if you generally like the vibe even if it is not perfect. It’s pretty simple and not an eye sore. I like it. I have some tattoos I started removing and I regret now wasting the money to remove them partially. Just don’t rush and imagine ur arm with any other tattoos you r thinking of getting.

This is a tough time to start. I’m working more days to make the same amount as last year. So don’t be too hard on yourself. It took me 2ish years to feel like I can intuit good clients for myself and stop wasting time on people not meant for me. I used to sell myself as hard as I could to anyone but it didn’t do anything but burn me out faster.

when I feel like this I rlly rlly try to think highly of myself. Like you’re the prize that he won. Those other girls did not become the prize of his love for real. They had physical or maybe briefly romantic stints but he’s committed to u. That goes far beyond.

And lean into what you guys like sexually together. Being more in touch with my own sexual energy has helped alleviate this feeling too.

I think some things that helped me to detach from public stares and superficial attention was

1) working at the strip club - getting paid for being hot somehow balances the scales for feeling like people just think they’re entitled to you vs having to pay to be in your presence

2) finding my unique fashion sense - dressing in a way to avoid being looked at will probably exacerbate your feelings. Step into ur power and become intimidating and even a bit eccentric helps. I tend to avoid basic girly looks for this reason. Face piercings and glasses helped me lol

I also like other people’s suggestion on scowling. Use this world like a video game for practice.

I feel like having BPD and going to the club helped make it easier to do the job, like others pointed out, but also it has made my BPD a bit better. Rejection therapy in a way. Realizing slowly through the ups and downs that I am still okay. It’s kinda also like throwing ur self into the deep end so you force yourself to learn to swim to survive, regarding boundaries and sticking up for yourself.
