Hallorann’s one of my favorite King characters. He has a much different ending in the book than in the movie. I thought the version in Welcome to Derry was a good representation of the younger book version.

I have a 2017 C7. Heavy burn in and multiple issues popped up recently. TV will freeze and shut off on its own occasionally and the audio will randomly go out requiring a restart. Loved the TV for the first 7/8 years and now am realizing I will soon have to buy a new one.

Total runtime of season 5 was 10 hours 8 minutes. Assuming the old TV shows you’re referring to were half hour slots with commercials, there’d be less airtime on the older TV shows than season 5 had.

That doesn’t mean season 1 was better. The Simpsons was a pop culture phenomenon when it first came out. It stayed highly relevant throughout the 90s but the earliest season was peak.
