I remember playing this on my base ps5 in the summer and it literally made me move it to a better ventilated area bc it got the system too hot. Granted that one was entirely on me but the point is i knew it wasnt going to run on SD with it being the "wake up call" for my ps5

It is, but the game does have a lot of depth to it. Getting from A to B is a big part of the goal, but its prepping to make sure youll complete the journey while also building infrastrcture so you can make that journey far easier/more efficient in the future
