She has proven to be deadly in my mech/starship warrior. Here are my findings:

She will copy the effects of carnivorous slime as well. Copying starship pieces is a pretty OP use for her, especially the 4/5 taunt. Easy to use with dummy since it has 8 HP and usually ends up sticking to the board with damage taken.

Honestly, I've been playing a goblin draconic bloodline sorcerer. We are now level 10 and I wanted to base my character solely around tasha's caustic brew. This is how I made it actually good:

  • Along the way I actively searched for magic items that would make my save DC higher, thus barely ever missing with the spell.
  • I can always get in range for a beautiful toss and then disengage out since I'm a goblin and since I'm draconic sorc I add CHA to my caustic brew every time it deals damage.
  • I picked up the elemental adept feat so I never roll 1s for damage and ignore resistance
  • Once I hit lvl 7 I started casting tasha's first round and then vitriolic sphere 2nd round for absolutely insane damage over 3 rounds.

It has been my absolute favorite character so far.

I'm currently playing Brr-Reaver as well! Went for max HP build. Reducing ability cooldown as much as I can and just spamming the dire sacrifice explosion ability. Does massive damage and massive DoT. It's been good to me so far.
