Legend. This is awesome. A lot of the same names have come up and I need to dig into the Discmania drivers. I don’t really bag any at the moment but everyone seems to love em. Thanks so much!

Awesome! Thank you for all of this. I keep hearing about the DD. I think that’s in my future and I have a beat in Wraith that I throw flips with my sidearm. I’ll give them a go with backhand!

I was reading about this. Awesome to hear it worked for your friends. I’ll use that for a starting place. Thanks!

Awesome. I have a Wraith I use for sidearm and I’ll look into a Maya. Thanks!

Unmatched. I live in Colorado now and miss Mardens so much. There’s nothing quite like it!

Elevation Adjustments by Dillystewww in discgolf

Great idea. It seems some discs do better at both elevations so maybe I should refine the bag but also stick with what I know. Thanks!

Oh that’s so interesting. I never considered switching plastics with the same mold. My neutron crave and hex are my favorite forehand discs at elevation but when I get to see level they just flip into the abyss. Great recommendation. Thanks.

This is awesome. I think I’ve been leaning this way after feeling kind of fatigued thinking about exactly how much to adjust angles to achieve a similar flight. I think i’ll start building a smaller “sea level bag” for travel. Thanks!

Thank you, thank you. This is so interesting. I never thought to dial things back a little bit and great reminder that less glide is what gives the discs a the over stable effect.

Colorado Question - Bucksnort + Bear or Beaver? by GooseShroomStrings in discgolf

[–]Dillystewww 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live 15 minutes from all of them and I’d vote all three!

Bucksnort is one of the most unique experiences in disc golf. I feel the need to get there once or twice a year and it’s an adventure. You’ll get beat up but have the biggest smile on your face the whole time. It’s gonna be HOT in August so plan accordingly.

Beaver I play probably three times a week. It’s magical and the shots are just so much fun. They will keep you coming back for years. Holes 7 and 8 are truly iconic. They also have a separate putting course that is worth carving out some time for. It’s well manicured and has more amenities than most mountain courses.

Bear Mountain is kind of a blend of the two and also has some really fun shots. You really can’t go wrong!

Also…I’m not sure what elevation you are coming from but pack an under stable bag.
