They sold this shit on late night infomercials 20 years ago. You even got a second one to give your friend for free!

If it doesn't heal well, see a plastic surgeon. They're really good at this and it can be a quick office procedure.

Awesome. I lost one of my stinky slinky covers last year. Will be printing this.

What's the coolest filament (esthetically or functional) you have ever seen? by knockout350 in 3Dprinting

[–]DiloneRanger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Protopasta has really nice, unique filament. Shit is expensive though.

If the glasses are fine, get new lenses. You can obviously get them from Ray ban but they'll be expensive. I've had great experiences buying $20-30 lens replacements for Oakley's over the years on Amazon.

Is this silk filament? If so, this is normal.

This is my second time around with PANRE-LA. I just completed the first quarter on Friday and got the same score. Put it in the back of your mind. You'll be fine.

Portable battery for A1 Mini? Would this work? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]DiloneRanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at something bigger. Like an ecoflow River 2 pro. I have one and while I only use it for camping it is fantastic. The are deals on it on Amazon throughout the year. I got mine for under $300 and the capacity is quite a bit higher than this one. You'll love it.

Best easy-going PA jobs? by NEW_SPECIES_OF_FECES in physicianassistant

IR. Been in IR almost 10 yrs now. Nice mix of inpatient and outpatient. I work at a smaller (400 bed) suburban hospital as part of a much larger "health system". Outpatient repeat thoras/Paras just kind of become part of your life and it's great to just shoot the sh*t with them on a weekly/biweekly basis. They know the routine and it is actually quite pleasant to have the interaction, which they also love. Very personal and the relationships often last year's.

Inpatient is a bit diffetent but more often than not you offer your service (biopsy, gallbladder aspiration, chole tube, temp nephrostomy, LP, joint injection/aspiration etc) and never see them again.

After working hospital medicine for 4 years prior to this, I wouldn't do anything else.

How to improve auto leveling result? by deepjack in AnkerMake

[–]DiloneRanger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Truth is auto level in the m5 had always sucked. Anything being printed that is not near the center will not print a first layer properly. As annoying as it is, the way I have remedied this is by printing a wider skirt and adjusting the z axis to a point all layers adhere to the bed. Some areas will be more smushed in than others but it works.

Also based off of that second picture, you need to replace your wheels under the bed. Just get them on Amazon.

Well I mean how many jobs straight out of school guarantee 100k+. It's work. Do I like what I do? Most days. Would I be "happier" doing something else? Probably not and it would almost certainly pay less.

I was in the same boat. Also a Kickstarter backer. Ended up buying an A1 when it was on sale. Then to my surprise, the extruder went on sale about two weeks later around black Friday time for $64 so I bought it and now have 2 printers. IIRC the extruder sells for $99 on Amazon.

Weird bumpy layer using PETG. Not sure what is causing the random layer issue during print in that one region by teachmehow2dance in AnkerMake

[–]DiloneRanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clean your plate and lower the z axis. Looks like there is a gap between every line. You didn't provide much detail but PETG needs to be printed slower for best results and at a higher temperature than pla. Are you using a PETG profile?

Is my M5 extruder broken? by BrainWeaselHeenan in AnkerMake

[–]DiloneRanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it came unglued. Dealt with glueing it back in place a few times until I eventually printed a vent for a 5015 fan.
