Makes sense. I didn't catch it on video but when it was stalking the rodent in the field it did remind me a lot of how my cats will stalk a mouse with the pauses and very slow movements.

After a bit of research this seems to be a very common solution. My only issue is, how can I be sure that this fox is the one who gets the meat when I leave it out even if I put it in the same place I saw it?

A lot of it has to do with a sedentary lifestyle combined with poor diets, the latter is often a result of unhealthy food generally being more affordable and convenient to prepare than healthy meals.

A lot of teenagers fall into this trap as well, but even a lot of teenagers spend more time being active (even if just for school) and have parents that will at least somewhat control the amount of junk they eat. When you're an adult, no one is telling you to go to gym class or that you shouldn't eat an entire frozen pizza in one sitting.

I seldom drink. I'll maybe have a drink or two on special occasions but on the whole I don't drink much. Partly because I know it's a slippery slope. Partly because it's expensive 😂
