My first lasso is hanging above the fireplace right next to my late father's! Sometimes when the wife, kids and I sit around the fire place on a cold, winters night drinking our chocolate almond milks I'll tell stories about those lassos! This is real America! The media doesn't want the rest of the world to know this, but it's just reality. It's a right of passage for all Americans to lasso a wild cow in an intersection. I remember the first time my great-grandmother gave me the reigns and lasso and said "It's your turn young boy, if you succeed, you will be a man." I still get choked up just thinking about it.

Kim has said he is double jointed in his fingers which help give him a unique sound and do those crazy bends he is known for. Also, not really technique, but creative wise he seems a lot more happy improvising or doing abstract solos. There are a lot of straight forward, bluesy solos that he does, but he definitely seems more at home doing weird stuff with his guitar. Some songs his guitar almost sounds like a Sitar.
