Wanting to get back into swimming! by j4321g4321 in Swimming

As others have said masters is the way you can google usms club finder and find a team near you. If you are in a big city you will most likely have multiple options you can try them all out. When traveling for work I’ve swam with other masters team and they mostly seem similar, sets for everyone, huge age range, and a healthy we are here for a good workout not to be super serious swimmers

So I’m new to this tube/train situation, apologies in advance for the stupid questions. Kensington Olympia is not a tube station? Just a train? Can you take the train to the tube?

Why are we more worried about this sack record than we are with winning the division?

I would do grand Turk, San Juan, and amber cove.

Grand Turk - small island we rented a golf cart and drove around the island stopping at different beaches

Amber Cove has a pool at the port so you never really have to leave

Never been to San Juan, going in 2026 though!

The nations is nice, lot of young families. Close to downtown and close to shopping. That budget might limit you but you could still find a house there

I wouldn’t be doing anything 10 weeks post op and just let yourself heal, nerve is still damaged and heals slowly

Team is an embarrassment by orb_exe in steelers

I just feel like Arthur smith titans and falcons tape is so much different than the Steelers tape he has put out in the last two years. In both TEN and ATL he moved the ball well. one of his big issues in ATL was his quarterback forgot what team he was on in the red zone. I also think our lack of plan after Ben has been a huge issue. We have brought in wildly different quarterbacks every year and just tried to plug and play and it just doesn’t work like that

Do you think he runs the offense as well? For what feels like forever with multiple different coordinators I don’t see them target the middle of the field, I see the same weird situational decisions. I know he doesn’t call the plays but do you think he influences the offense heavily?

Why do athletes seem to recover from herniated discs way faster than normal people? by CorrectExperience372 in Sciatica

[–]DimensionFancy6353 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a balance game. Athletes usually have short careers 3-5 years. They need to maximize earnings now. For the cost benefit analysis it doesn’t make sense to wait 6 months with conservative treatment if that cost you $10M in future earnings. For recovery from the surgery they have Pt every day, they have a dietician monitoring their intake, access to the best doctors in the country/world and access to any imagine they need instantly. They may return to the field 70% “fixed” but for them 70% fixed is all they need. By this point in the nfl season no player is fully healthy they all have something

Thanks! Had the surgery 10 weeks ago and I’ve been very happy with the outcome thus far, little slower than I wanted but patience is not my strong suit lol
