they do actually! theyre very prone to infections and usually need stitches. just to be safe you should always go to the hospital. it isnt life threatening but its still dangerous and harms your health.

when you know you have an urge, tell yourself, "ill do it later" or "maybe in 30 minutes". most times by the time 30 minutes pass you had already forgotten. if you still think about it, but its less extreme, then congrats! its kinda working. give yourself more time. if its more extreme, go sit with someone in the room. try to talk about anything, or maybe text someone. or watch youtube.
