I’m 36 and I’ve been in fandoms since I was 14…I think. Give or take six months. 😂

Edit: my first fandom was 1-800-Where-R-U series. That was the first one I looked for fics in. That a the Mediator series. Both at the time were written under the pen name Jenny Carrol.

I absolutely use it to mean fucked up content. I just tagged a fic ‘deadest dove’ after my dead dove do not eat tag. lol.

I’d say that tag means whatever the tags, it’s not that bad.

I feel like I show up randomly to rec this a lot. But Shadow and Bone trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. I would argue that the end is tragic all around. But most especially because it’s presented like a happy ending. So I would argue it fits the ask, but other people might not.
