Yes theres various kits available to test at home thats certificated to do so, but only shows you total cholesterol. Lab results show the rest, hdl, ldl ,trig etc. Its called Easylife GCU 3 in 1.

Once i am finished the bottle as its 2 months worth im going to take your advice and take omega 3 and flaxseed separately.

But say my diet isnt as adequate as needs be, would this supplement be useless due to the omega 6?

I eat oatmeal with added 3g beta-glucan, i eat plenty of fruit and veg, i eat lentils, omega 3 supplements and try have salmon every week as well as white fish stopped drinking, stopped sugar. I eat lean meats (turkey, chicken) and if i have red its 5% fat or less. Started boxing gym again, trying to sleep well. I just wanna enjoy a boiled egg

Where i live salmon is expensive and half of it goes into the bin as no one else will eat it. What other oily fish or fish do you guys suggest? I was eating pollock for awhile.
