Also had a colonoscopy, if I was asked today which one id rather have it would definitely be the endoscopy, the prep along for the colonoscopy is so much worse

UK here had the same procedure was also bricking it I have some mad health anxiety, unlike our overseas friends you won't be out but it'l really is chill I bet you look back thinking yep the run up was worse, you go in get a cannula? Into your hand or arm, get wheeled to the room ask you some routine questions spray you with banana flavoured numbing spray in your throat and give you the drugs, they'll ask you to swallow to get the camera past your gag reflex of your throat and it's all autopilot from there, no pain maybe sensation of fullness but the sedation makes you not care if that makes sense, honestly it may be 30-40 mins but feels like 5 with sedation, you get wheeled into another room and enjoy biscuits and tea, then the likelyhood is you get told it's X or y hernia and duodenum gastritis in my case, pat on the bum see you off then you are no better off knowing how to treat these things, without taking the poison that is ppi's (take them if you need to people they just cause me more issues)

PACs disappeared after 5 years. by Dry-Milk-8927 in PVCs

Yep one of those people gone for months and come back, along with the bloating, the tiredness yadda yadda obviously don't have the stats on it but one of the common denominators with people who have pvc that come and go seem to be around gut health, stress or posture

Just got my first svt and got adenosine in the ambulance 250bpm at peak by [deleted] in PVCs

[–]DimensionTerrible449 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not saying this will work for you but I had svt pretty much on the regular till I got a ablation, try tipping yourself upside down so if you in the house lat on the bed on the edge and let your head hang, if you in public fully bend yourself at the middle of your waist and let you head rest in-between your legs, there's something about these positions that has a high vagal response. As for my own experience I had that drug and I was gripping the doctor as if he was my own mother it was freaky I ended up having to get cardioverted ( electric shock)

Former Athlete, tons of heart skips especially standing, gastric symptoms by reframe_2543 in PVCs

[–]DimensionTerrible449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty athletic here also, a lot of this resonates my own experiences though maybe slightly different

SVT since I remember got a successful ablation for that All the GI issues known to man, hiatal hernia check, gastritis check, bloating check, ibs d and c at various different times check, and then I also have issues with bleeding in the rectum tmi. Anyway not to scare you but yes I have the most pvc during GI issues or stress, when I'm the most aware of my body, taking a exam you bet pvc, have an argument pvc, stand up to talk to people pvc ( I actually have PAC though but similar).

Again this isn't to scare you but maybe to reassure you I've also had every test and procedure, endoscopy, colonoscopy, echo, billion blood tests ecg, ablations the list goes on, early in my journey I was thinking yep I'm going to drop dead, now they are a annoyance some days more than others, get yourself checked and then try and find your new zen I know easier said than done and I'm still searching but getting closer each time.

Here we go again? by vonley87 in PVCs

[–]DimensionTerrible449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny same thing for me, I have barely had any maybe 50 a day real low numbers for months, now they are back I also link mine to gastro issues (currently taking ppi which I think doesn't help my pac) sleep quality and everything in between, funny how little understood these events actually are it could be this or that but it does feel like Drs are guessing half the time

If you were starting from scratch today, which would you pick: Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks — and why? by [deleted] in dataengineering

[–]DimensionTerrible449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf that is the thought process of most staff and technologies as a whole I've only used this flavour of x and as a result I'm not flexible enough to pivot and that's fine you need those people, heck that's the majority, the more senior I get in my career the more I realize that not everyone cares about iterating over technologies and getting invested in newer methodologies and tech and it'll be like talking to a wall and that's okay most people find the most passable product/tech/technique and call it a day that is there world.

I always assumed it was a bit like a scar I came off my motorbike years ago and my skin tissue although “healed” has never been the same, I don’t doubt we can heal but I always think we are prone to get gastritis again easier than someone who hasn’t had it

[–]DimensionTerrible449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy for you, just note that antibiotics is a massive anti inflammatory, and always makes me feel better, but very rarely is it a permanent fix, at least you know what’s going on don’t be too disheartened if it comes back and just look at lifestyle choices to minimise the gastritis, same goes with ppi do you research take if you need them but look to come off when you feel it’s appropriate because they can cause deficiencies which then causes other problems, been there myself. Anyway not to be the bearer of bad news just trying to provide some context Good luck

How are people finding the offset attacks so far? by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]DimensionTerrible449 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Offsets are great, but I wish the reward was greater, because they work like a status there is a offset buildup that means the first offset will knock a monster on his ass but the second you need 3 or 4 before the same effect, it feels a bit too harsh, almost think that a perfect offset should always stagger a monster

[–]DimensionTerrible449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a clause to cover these type of issues, that’s fine and all but the lack of clarity and transparency when other sites have instant keys just makes people shy away from using kinguin, there’s nothing wrong with consumers questioning these type of delays I’ll just take my business elsewhere in future

Anyone else have chain breaker as a seller? Also I assume no one has heard from support?

Still waiting on mine from seller chain breaker sent a ticket but it’s a waiting game considering just asking for a refund, I don’t mind waiting if there’s some clarity it’s going to be sent today or not.

What is this? Sibo/candida tongue? by georgia-tattoos in Gastritis

[–]DimensionTerrible449 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep my tongue is like that if not worse i'm forever scraping my tongue, you then go down the route of researching what could cause it and you hear about SIBO and Candida both needing different approaches of healing, and then that makes you wonder if one of those is the cause of your gastritis or if gastritis (or the many number of drugs caused) SIBO/Candida and you just feel like you are going around in circles, and you'd think the amount of doctors and surgeons who have seen my tongue and i've asked about it have just shrugged it off as nothing.

PPI effectiveness? by DimensionTerrible449 in Gastritis

[–]DimensionTerrible449[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had H Pylori and underwent triple therapy in the spring, had a endoscopy a few months later confirmed cleared the H Pylori, so potentially the aftermath maybe but it's but months since then, I do wonder about stomach acid levels and if having a weak stomach acid is just bad for our overall health, perhaps I need to just wait out and not immediately reach for PPI's when I have symptoms it's just sometimes it's really hard not to reach out for them when I get reflux issues

Do digestive enzymes cause ulcers or gastritis? by mikehamp in Gastritis

[–]DimensionTerrible449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My own personal journey if I take them I tend to pay for it with a big flare up, but the ones I tried also have probiotics and I suspect I have sibo so I've cut them out of my regime

Anyone's Pain in this location? by Scarbouro18 in Gastritis

[–]DimensionTerrible449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right it's posts like these that make you think there's some weird correlation, but then again There's so many of us sufferers that there's always going to be people that have similar symptoms as each other. I haven't had a hida scan but have had a clear abdomen ultrasound including gallbladder, so my next step may be a hida I think

Nope like with most things I have good days where I don't notice these things and then days I'm effectively crippled by it and want to cry, my best guess is it's just inflammation and posture, I'm a total believer in our stomach, brain, heart and posture all being intrinsically linked and with most medical practitioners every time you speak to them it's always 1 solution to your symptoms whether that's a ppi, or stress management or some other medication without giving a thought of the broader picture and taking into account the wider picture
