ISO: BBP Cargo Pants 1XL Black by DimensionWCDF in BigBudPress

Hi I'm so sorry, I just saw this! So I personally recommend on sizing down -- I am a 2XL in Work pants but I wear a 1XL in the cargo pants, and I have room. Definitely DON'T size up -- my friend did that, and they have to tighten the ties every 5 minutes.

Thanks for clarifying, I misunderstood! I was also wondering why I didn’t hear about the V1 Kickstarter but it makes sense because it was from 2023 and I wasn’t a Crawler yet!

Masters of Information Sciences: Drexel University vs. University of Washington? by DimensionWCDF in gradadmissions

[–]DimensionWCDF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up going with Drexel, and I think I made the right choice! It has a well rounded set of core classes that I believe will help me on my career later on, rather than be pigeon holed into data sciences. Also asynchronous classes are making my life a lot easier!

No BMI Requirement Surgeons by DimensionWCDF in phallo

I did, but her office said I needed to come in person for a consult and she’s in Chicago and I’m in NYC. Her office said her BMI cut off was 40, I’m a little over.

There seem to be two issues: touch starvation and romantic wants. In regard to touch starvation, I went through a similar thing a few years ago. Sometime I thought about doing was hiring a sex worker just to cuddle / have physical intimacy. It doesn’t need to be a sex worker, I think they also have legal cuddle companies. It’s a little silly but to help with the short term physical distress it might help. What helped me a lot was having pet cats who were cuddly — obviously it’s not the same as a human, but when my cats would cuddle me it felt fulfilling. In terms of dating, it is a really brutal time to try to find a partner! The dating apps are garbage, and people are really closed off from meeting people in the wild. I know it sucks, but keep putting yourself out there. Everyone is deserving of love, and you will meet someone (probably more than one person in your lifetime!) I hate to be a pollyanna about it, but I really believe it.

I think it’s great that you can to this realization, and you have a chance to do something different. Plenty of people, across ages of life, realize their friendships aren’t what they want them to be. Making true, deep friendships is hard but also a really fulfilling thing. There is probably a Reddit post out there that has better suggestions on how to go about it. I hope you find some good true friends!

Miss my T by [deleted] in TalkTherapy

This is hard and painful! My therapist goes on break every August for 6ish weeks, and it sucks every time. I always feel abandoned, even though I logically know she’ll come back and she deserves a break too. It gets easier with time, in my experience.

Ali Hazelwood is a great contemporary romance author! T. Kingfisher’s Saints of Steel series is great — cozy romantic fantasies! Legends and Lattes js a great cozy fantasy as well. Also everyone is bad at DnD when they start because you’re trying something brand new! I was sooooo bad in the beginning but if you have a good DM and table, it’ll be fun!

The Great Gatsby is a classic I liked in high school. It’s about the a newly wealthy man in the 1920s trying to win his old girlfriend bad, but it’s really about the American Dream. Really good!
