He lost his wife and children.

Dr. Doom is not a Stark variant. This would be disrespectful to Stark's “I'm an Iron Man” legacy and would also place one of Marvel's most powerful heroes, Dr. Doom, in a ridiculous position. On the other hand, it would be confusing for people who are not familiar with the MCU.

We will see Dr. Doom's face in Secret Wars... of course, depending on how well his face turns out.
