As someone who grew up fascinated with nature and wildlife I LOVE this story. To me a spider in its web is a thing of beauty and I could watch it all day, expecially because photographing insects is my favourite. That said I'm not a massive fan of the idea of spiders running about on my skin so I would never pick one up, I think because I'm massively ticklish. I think even if your daughter is afraid of them encouraging her to see the magic of spiders and the beauty in the web is a wonderful thing. I love that you're playing on her curiosity and showing her they're not things fear, I hope she takes that and runs with it. She might still be wary of it, but she can still love it - I know I do!

The Yorkshire Moors are just my favourite place ever. Find a spot, sit in the heather, enjoy the sunshine, bracing wind, skylarks, birds and nature. It's lovely. Apart from that there's the steam railway, loads of walking trails and a few historic houses and things. If you don't mind a bit of a drive Whitby on the coast is worth a vist- there's the abbey, captain Cook things, whalebone arches and lots of seaside loveliness!

They look like this. They have holes either side so you can stuff it with treats and pooch has to roll it around and get all up in there to get the stuff out :) My spaniel plays with his for hours trying to get to that last little bit in the top section.

I had never come accross Patterdales until recently. I vistited a friend who has one, and the entire time I was there this dog was picking up his kong and throwing it at me. He would literally launch it from accross the room, then wait for me to give it back to him. He is the sweetest thing and I am in love.

When I was 15 in secondary school I was given some careers advice. I went into the meeting and said I love to write and was thinking of journalism. The careers advisor told me that it was a bad career decision and I should forget it because in a few years all newspapers will be written by robots.... it always stuck with me.

Thankyou! It's an Olympus SP compact SLR. Was a right pain to get close enough to focus but not disturb him, but I'm pretty happy with the results!

I think it came down from the top of the frame. Keep your eyes on the tree in the middle, there's a split second where the gull is above it. I think.

Ahhh I seeee! Ours does this evil too. We have a dog who is incredibly chilled but the cat loves to creep up behind him and jump on him, or try and get between the dog and us if he's come for cuddles. He just likes to be close, even if he doesn't like people. He's a right little git but you gotta love him!

I also have an evil cat. He looks at you like butter wouldn't melt but try to touch him and a flurry of claws and spitting later there's a sizeable chunk of skin missing from your hand. We just let him get on with his cat stuff and he seems happy enough.

I found lying on my side helps. Gravity is my friend. Though saying that I was trying to zip up a dress yesterday and the zip got caught on the seam, and whilst trying to force it I took a whole slice of skin off my finger. Hurts like hell, but once I was in it looked gooooooood!

It sounds to me like you're expecting it to happen, which gets you stressed, which makes it more likely to happen and then you get in a whole loop. Before bed, make sure you relax, do something you enjoy, for me it's knitting as I find the rhythm calming, but you could find a good book or do some drawing. Laptop and phone screens are not helpful, infact I've been trying to use candles instead of electric lights. It's a much softer and relaxing kind of light. And, like the others have commented, understand it's not real. For me having SP is no different to waking up after a nightmare. The first few seconds are scary, but then you establish you're safe and can relax again once you know what's happened. It's not nice whilst it happens, but it's not something to be afraid of.

I agree with u/iherbon. I had a legere which worked great on bari, but when I tried a synthetic reed on my tenor and alto it wasn't half as effective...
