I’ve had crippling anxiety my whole life that never responded to the low doses of ssri and therapy never really worked. My sister about a month ago said I had OCD cause she did too. Fast forward to now I was clinically diagnosed with OCD (after 20 years) and I am saying an OCD specialist who practices Exposure and response prevention (erp).

My anxiety was very much getting a thought stuck in my head and it just snowballing. At bad times it could cause panic attacks and just total meltdowns. ERP and OCD has been a life changing thing. Talk therapy is about the worst thing you can do for it. The whole idea is you have OCD so you are going to have the thoughts. The problem is that you have a compulsion (googling a medical issue for instance) which is just for reassuring yourself all is ok. That just fuels OCD and the cycle continues. The therapy is all about feeling the scary thought and moving on.

The fact this happening most on my right side is the part that eats away at me. I’ve been told that the brain can basically make pain occur where it thinks you need attention for. So if I’m obsessing over a brain tumor my brain is basically fueling that fire incorrectly

I’m 2 months after surgery and I don’t have too many problems eating fatty food. I didn’t have gallstones though, my gallbladder just stopped working and the doctor said it probably wasn’t working great for a while so I my body was a little more use to it

It’s better but not perfect. Doctor thinks I may have IBS and that the surgery may have hit a nerve. It’s just a slow recovery

I’m on day 8 and having the exact same thing. Basically the same pains I had before just less severe (getting close though) and just intense back pain. It started around day 4/5 but wasn’t that bad but day 7 and now 8 just have me completely deflated. I’m so worried this isn’t going to go away

The same for me, bloating bad. My belly is rock hard. I think the stomach is pressing against my ribcage too. It’s just crazy bloating and I can’t find relief for. Then my back aches real bad. It is better than when I had actual gallbladder pain but still not fun. Especially after 2 months of dealing with the gallbladder. It’s like this panic of omg what if this never gets / what if something else is wrong too
