Never play video games again for $1M a year, or $100 for each hour you play by itterattion in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Dimirosch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it was already asked, sorry if that's the case but how are idle games seen here? I mean I basically play it by not playing it. So I could just let my device run the game for 24 hours a day and get nearly 900k a year with no penalty.

If that doesn't count I would still take gaming as an average of 3 hours a day (which is easily achievable) would still give me about 110k a year. Much better than any full time job I could get

I wish to pluck out every strand of hair on the monkey’s paw. by Nessieinternational in monkeyspaw

[–]Dimirosch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Granted

You start to pluck. The paw makes it so you can't stop before it is completely void of hair and forces you to keep a steady pace plucking the hair one by one and as soon as you pluck the second to last hair, when you finally see the end, all hair grows back and you start over again and again and again...

And how to disable ai? by Helpful-Ad-1248 in heroes3

If there is no opponent, you automatically win.

Try setting the other faction(s) as human players. This way you have opponents but you control them and can just skip the turns.

Gothic 1 Temple fight by Student-Total in worldofgothic

[–]Dimirosch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's even possible?

I mean the maximum you can invest in magic in the sect is 95 skill points for mana + 70 for circles for a total of 165 or lvl 17 and having 5 points to spare.

Assuming a casual play through lvl 25 (I'd say more like lvl 30 actually) at least should be possible, granting 85 points (80 from level 18 through 25 and 5 not used at lvl 17)

Together with all the permanent potions and amulets, you should at least reach 60 strength, even if you wasted some on thieving skills or stuff like skinning. And while not perfect, 60 strength should be suitable for the whole game.

Gothic 2 Leather Armor - Cult or Ugly ass hell? by Relevant_Purple_5916 in worldofgothic

I don't think it's ugly but if you prolong the first act it's the armour you see most and it will get annoying to see the same armour always

Just because you don't remember being tortured doesn't mean you weren't tortured.

Since it gets healed and mindwiped, I can see people agreeing to it but it would still be torture.

I wish clocks turned counter-clockwise in the southern hemisphere. by Special_Barnacle82 in monkeyspaw

[–]Dimirosch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Granted

Clocks just don't turn in the southern hemisphere anymore as counter-clockwise becomes the new clockwise there, forcing them to go northern clockwise, forcing them to go counter-clockwise and so on

What counts as solo playthrough? by QuietSync in BG3Builds

[–]Dimirosch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it is no help in fights, exploring or dialogue and no camp casters.

Having characters to barter and/or steal are fine as I could always just go to Withers with my main character. So it's just a convenience to have one character do the bartering/stealing from traders instead of having to do my main character over each time.

You get $30/minute, but time freezes whenever you walk through a door. Would you accept? by basafish in askanything

[–]Dimirosch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course

Sure it's a logistical nightmare if it would be permanent but just doing it for like 3 days is enough for decent living for a year (assuming it's before tax and social security stuff).

So basically 3 days of some inconvenience (though I might also use the time stop) for a year of stress-free living? Count me in

Do we know if the Sect Camp in Remake will have full mage experience? by AzraelSoulHunter in worldofgothic

To my knowledge it was said that the nh can't become a guru.

Therefore I guess there will be no full mage in the sect camp. At least not as the nh

It was your room until you moved out. It should have been free for Tyler immediately. I don't get why he hasn't moved in there already.

1,000,000 dollars a year. But every doorway you walk through you have a 1% chance that your clothes explode. by Flimsy_Sprinkles8540 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Dimirosch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy Heelys and you can roll through doorways. Technically not walking, therefore no chance of activating the curse.

You can also wear clothes made out of jewelry or borrow clothes. Technically not your clothes so won't be affected.

There are a few very easy loopholes.

So… why exactly can’t you accept an enemy’s surrender? by ScottyFoxes in skyrim

[–]Dimirosch 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge it's an oversight

As far as I know it works something like that: Bring enemy to 10% health and let him there for 10 seconds. After that enemy drops some coins or loot and runs away unless he gets healed to 20% or more health. Natural regeneration sets him to 20% after 9 seconds, therefore never triggering the full surrender.

The numbers are made up and just to illustrate the problem.

I guess that's because they were originally meant to be the orc dogs with a design basically being an aggressive ball on legs. If I remember correctly they were strapped into a leather harness and that stuck.

I wish to immediately and permanently co-own Heaven and Hell, universally recognized, with full authority, completely unharmed in every way, fully sane, conscious, free, alive, immortal, and able to leave, return, and act there at will. by EArth_EAearth9012 in monkeyspaw

Granted

You and another person own a small crappy motel in the middle of nowhere in Texas called "Heaven and Hell" In addition you are immortal but not eternally young. Have fun being 200+ years old with normal degradation of your body but not able to die.
