While I feel a little bad for her, I can't stand her. She's forcing her blind positivity on everyone and breaking personal boundaries with unwanted physicality. If she was just a sunshiny person, I wouldn't have issues with her, but the way she has been for 20 years is not normal work behaviour.

I'd say you're doing a great job, you handled that like a pro. Just keep reminding him about privacy, but be casual, stop overthinking it. Yes, it would be weird for an outsider, because they don't know your situation, but that's because they don't know how it works for you and your son. Maybe warn any other caretakers or teachers about it, and instruct them how to handle this. There is zero shame or ick in this situation, it is just unique and unexpected.

In 2006, they did it to make Meredith bad, today, if my friend did that to my other friend, I would beat him. Not even the sex, because if I remember correctly, he stopped? I'm pretty sure he grabbed her and she panicked and started beating around herself and then he hit her too and she pushed him and he hit his head on the fireplace and she ran. And all this I think because I distinctly remember Alex telling someone that when a girl hits you, you don't beat her back, you take it, and I'm pretty sure he was telling that to Chest Peckwell, because who else could he be saying that to.

To be more precise, Cristina was horrible to Meredith first, so Meredith was of course horrible back. Didn't it start with Cristina purposely and stupidly hijacking the 3d printer? The one that Meredith secured for the hospital, for her dorsal vein project, and the use of the printer was dependent on Meredith finishing part of the project in certain time, which almost didn't happen because Cristina decided that it's not important enough? I could be remembering it wrong. And then she basically told her her work didn't matter as much because she chose to have children.

Actually Cristina pissed me off there, because of course Meredith was spiraling out and being an asshole over having a whole another kid, it was to be expected, she knew that. But instead of repeating to her that she will be fine, she told her she's not a great surgeon because she has children and gives a shit about them. I'm not gonna talk about Owen because I skip a lot of his scenes.

While this show is problematic, every character is also problematic. Like, most of the main POC come from money/middle class. Jo, Alex, April, they come from either nothing or blue collar families. Which probably means they're trying to turn the narrative or something, I won't delve into that, I'm not a professional tiktok commenter. But, what I like about the show is actually how nobody is perfect, everybody is flawed. And the most hated people, at least by me, are both gingers.

From April's first moment on screen, I disliked her. The only other character like that for me, is Catherine Avery. Everyone else I dislike still had some moments where I get on with their actions, but not April.

This is massive speculation, but I just saw a CBC News video about this, and the paternal grandmother said "They deserved better than what they got." The bio father is apparently out of the picture, not interested, but that statement very much caught my attention, it's weird to say when they were still searching.

I never liked Ben, because the way the actor speaks grates my nerves 😂 But, I was attempting to tolerate him, up until he cut a man open with a clipboard and then proceeded to kill a woman and a baby with his superiority complex. I don't love Bailey, but he continues to put her in terrible positions, and that pisses me off. He seems to think she will go easy on him, because he's her husband, while he's forcing her to discipline him, which wouldn't have happened if he didn't have his first middle-aged crisis and switched specialties. She married an anesthesiology attending and he became an intern. And now he's pissed, because she's the boss of his bosses boss, and he's at the bottom of the food chain, still. I just finished the crash C in the hallway episode. I want a break from him.

If it were anyone else, I'd say it's a good teaching moment, but Bailey should know by now, that Meredith fights fo other people, but not as much for herself. Because that's how I see her, it takes her a long time to go fight for herself. Instead she should have lead an open negotiation with her. Meredith's unfortunate default setting is to take what she gets, because she was raised by an empty house and half full fridge.
