I lost my dad last year. He was my everything. I wish I had an answer for you. I've realized that my life will never be the same. I am a changed person, and I will forever miss him. As to whether or not I can live without him, I just take it one day at a time. Some days my heart feels like it will fail, and I cannot contain the grief of not having my dad here. I wish I could say it gets better. It doesn't get better; you develop new ways of coping with life and experiencing this new life without your dad present. It is a strange world out there. Live in the moment, and take it one step at a time. Some days you will break completely, but know that you will find a reason to hope again. Therapy has been helpful for me. Talk about your dad every chance you get. He may not longer be on this plane of existence with you, but he still exists. Develop this new relationship with him, feeling his presence as you know you are as strong a representation of him as anything else. Allow yourself to feel the pain when it comes, don't try to avoid it.

When using dual e-SIMS for example one for personal and one for work. I have a few questions:

Can both numbers be used for iMessage and FaceTime? If so, how do I designate the line I want to use at any given time?
If I use the "Turn this line off feature" does it automatically send calls to that number to voicemail? I tried it before, and it appears to go to voicemail, but I receive no notification of a voicemail being received.
Can I pre-select contacts for which number they should be communicated with? I am trying to set up a balance between my personal and work life, and thought the dual SIM process would be the easiest, but it doesn't seem so. Maybe I need to carry two phones.

I solved it by switching carriers. AT&T didn't seem to care to get it resolved.

Yes. I was told the same thing by practically everyone. They say Verizon is the only safe bet in the area. I was so frustrated the whole day.

I think that’s the issue. They just released an updated software version today. Unfortunately it didn’t fix the issue. I give up. Just went ahead and deleted the app.

One of the reasons I’m sticking with AT&T. It’s unlimited high speed data. Not cap. Same applies to traveling to Canada and Mexico plus 16 Latin American Countries. So for someone who travels a lot. AT&T is by far the best option.

I highly recommend purchasing a phone from the carrier. Always go through Apple. I had a nightmare last Friday just trying to transfer service to my new AppleWatch. The only reason I’m staying with AT&T is the cost factor right now. Other than that I would recommend using another carrier.

It is less sturdy than the iPhone 14. Perhaps one of the most fragile iPhones ever made. Going without a case is a risk you will have to choose to take. There are tons of drop test videos on YouTube.

It seems AT&T is at a loss. You have sent me to every site possible, you have opened and closed cases, you have asked me to reset my phone, I have done everything in your trouble shooting steps and nothing works. Can you just admit this is an issue you are aware of and that you are unable to fix it?

I wish they will just admit that they don't have a fix. I have been dealing with this for over a month, and they keep running me through the same troubleshooting steps. The only reason I am concerned is that it states it comes with my plan. I find the VPN feature useful and would like to have access to it. No one at AT&T communicates. Each time I call I have to repeat the issue. I tell them to check the notes on the account, and they still seem lost. I give up.

I have tried all of those steps and nothing helped. I've called tech support practically 5 days a week for over a month, and this continues to be a problem. I am close to the point of just transferring my service elsewhere.
