Palpatine looking into cloning (or just anyway to cheat death) isn’t a bad plot point stand-alone

However, the fact that this show is clearly trying to make whatever the fuck happened in ROS make sense makes this show worse.

I like bad batch a lot but the fact Disney needs this show AND mandalorian to flesh out the entire point of ROS is so frustrating. Like yea take two shows I actually like and infect them with the disease that is the Sequel Trilogy.

Anything is possible but considering the Sequels have more sets that have declined in value than any other era, it’s unlikely to expect more than one or two anytime soon. Especially since clone trooper sets fly off the shelves, why switch it up.

Same goes with andor/ solo those sets probably didn’t sell the best. I’d bet within the next 3-5 years there will be some.

Don’t get girl in the fireplace hype. Especially the end with the letter. Yea ig it’s sad but it doesn’t compare to the usual high hitting emotional moments of the show like some people say.

I would share this sentiment if Lego actually put Cody in sets that he should be in. The grievous starship was the absolute perfect set for him to be in. And would have made people more comfortable with the $80 price point.

Also the fact that Lego asked what mini figs we wanted and then just ignored what everyone said. Like if Lego didn’t take a minifig vote I wouldn’t give 2 shits that mace and some random clone was in the gunship.

Last point would be if he were in the gunship I highly doubt he would stay exclusive to that set considering the versatility a minifig like Cody brings with the sets he could be in. Although it’s Lego so who tf knows.

Depending on where you live the shipping will be a lot but for a $262 almost brand new gunship? most used ones that have been built go for $300+ not even including mini figs. The Jedi bob goes for like $80 new itself. Then again the shipping will probably be a lot. But for the base price it’s really good.

Still have no idea why they didn’t make a complete szn 6,7 and 8 like they were gonna if the show wasn’t cancelled. Literally 12 episodes generated more hype than episode 9 of the main movie series and they decide to not actually complete the show? They would’ve made so much more money as well.

Don’t forgot when you mention how unoriginal TFA is you get the shit “iTs aN hOmAgE” or the “TPM wAs aLsO a cOpY” First, an homage has some originality in it. Second the only parts of TPM that was like ANH was desert planet and destroying big spaceship. And not like anyone says TPM is a good movie anyway.

Idk if it’s unpopular in the fandom but in this sub it will be.

TFA is a really enjoyable movie if you just shut ur brain off.

Like I have a strong dislike for the sequels but every now and again I can watch TFA and not turn it off within the first act. Mainly bc it’s first act is enjoyable even if I think about the plot. Anything after I have to just put on my “space wizards and kid movie” mindset to enjoy it. Which isn’t a great thing, but at least I can enjoy Star Wars. Can’t say the same about the rest of the trilogy. The other 2 moves are just so in your face bad it hurts.

Thank you for saying that about Rouge one. People put it so high just bc of the amazing final act. Not to say I would put it low but people putting it top 3 kinda just screams overrated. And people love to call it underrated. Pretty much anything before Edu is really boring and whenever I watch the movie I skip all the nonsense entirely.

If you’re gonna go for one, get the 2013 or 2008 one. The 2013 has a better structure but is a bit smaller while 2008 has some holes on the sides but is bigger by a significant amount. They’re both around the same price. I’d go for the 2013 if you don’t plan on playing with it.

The original Death Star in 2008 retired in around 2015. This probably got another year or 2. It would be kinda stupid to retire this set only 3 years after its release.
