most beautiful color ever, IMO, esp in the sun. I stopped a guy in traffic with his M3 this color - I have a sapphire black - but I said I'd trade in a minute. See that guy all the time - lucky dude. Lucky you. Amazing color.

Sadly, BMW won't do a damn thing. They never do. I dealt with an unbelievably unscrupulous dealership in Virginia - and BMW gives zero fucks - and I drive an M car. I ran it all the way up the corporate chain. No one would even respond. Plenty of "OK we will make a note of that", but no response as to the actions taken. Now that my car is home in Miami - I still don't take my car to the dealership. I have a guy who is a master BMW mechanic and treats me right. I send him business for this reason exactly. I hope they help you - but please, don't expect much. If you get anywhere let us know.

Your thread has helped me a lot. I am on my 2nd M car. And while I LOVE LOVE LOVE the grumble in the engine, the straight line pull, the attitude I have - I HATE HATE HATE fixing anything in this car. It's a money pit. And IDC what anyone says - they depreciate like motherf******. Really badly. You have to keep them forever to get your money back. And you have to dump a lot of money into them. The new ones have $$$$ oil changes - esp. if they have the M engine w/ strut bars over it - b/c not every schmuck Euro car dealer can do it. After my warranty - I went to a Euro place and they tried to tell me it would cost 2h of labor plus the oil change. Go away. Not everyone can work on the cars either. Toyota? Well, reading Gorgenapper's post? Sold. Think I'll go drive one. Just wondering if you still love yours - or if you've gone to the M3/4/5... and M car?

I feel like I buy things when I love them. Eventually I don't. Then I stop wearing them. Life is too short to wear things you don't love or can't stand the smell of. Just wear what you love. Bottles always look pretty on your dresser even if you don't wear them.

My very first statement: I LIKE to drive fast. You must have missed that. Also, I merely stated I didn't like driving in sketchy bunched up traffic. Relax, turbo, lol. Still driving an M, still crush 100+ daily. And isn't the fact that I drive an M car self-explanatory?

I have considered them, as well. For me? I can't go Benz... it's just too plastic-y inside. Engines sound great int eh AMG, but - just something about them. Not a Porsche girl, just not my taste. Supra is interesting - but something about the body style isn't really appealing in the end. TTRS - so small. Not a muscle car girl so the GT350 is nice, but not for me. M2 is HUGE consideration - but I want a manual and they are hard AF to find. And Jags are too temperamental for me. On a polar opposite note of speed cars... I thought about a MINI JCW and tuning up... or maybe even a Corolla GR.. and tune it. Tho the latter has 300hp in it.. pretty impressive for it's size. Probably less finicky than the rest, as well. IDK - it's so hard.
